Starting to feel like Christmas

It's exciting! It smells like Christmas outside.
I wish we had a fireplace

Visage 22-10-2011 05:54 PM

Give it a couple of weeks and you will have that smell of fire floating around:D

Kazanne 22-10-2011 05:55 PM

I have an open fire, you can't beat them, messy but well worth it

Doogle 22-10-2011 05:58 PM

Walking through the city today at 5:30pm as it's getting dark and colder and you can see the lights coming on in all the shops with Christmas stuff in the windows, amazing feeling.

My mum had one but had to have it filled in last year because the dogs tail caught figure :laugh3:

The christmas lights in my town have been put up but they haven't been turned on yet :amazed:

No idea why I wrote figure and not fire :conf:

Yeah dog was fine, managed to put it out straight away, took her to the vet and it only affected her fur so just shaved that off and it grew back fine. But it was hilarious whilst my mum was almost having a fit. Dog was just stood there no idea what was going on :joker:

A town near me has their Christmas lights up already :bored:

I love Christmas, but that's just taking the piss.

Lewis. 22-10-2011 06:30 PM

Not long now! Went up to Asda after work last night at 5:30 and it was dark, felt really weird but also christmassy as they have all of their christmas stuff out.

Beastie 22-10-2011 06:37 PM

Err like 2 weeks ago I was at work and Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is you" came on the music channel. I was like.. For **** sake!! Wait until December or at the very earliest.. end of November. But as soon as Bonfire night ends they will be banging them christmas tunes out but it's too early.

I do like the Christmas feel and everything but no point getting excited until end of November or something when you get your advent calendar. I will keep busy at work which will take my mind off.. the "upcoming christmas!".

My mum did buy some big snowflakes for the christmas tree a few weeks ago though seeing as though christmas stuff is already out :bored:

Please shops.. just fill the shelves with plenty of halloween tack and fireworks until all that ends first then christmas stuff after. Pffft.

Glenn. 22-10-2011 06:41 PM

There's something about the opening notes to 'All I Want For Christmas' that gets everyone excited.

MTVN 22-10-2011 06:47 PM
