Turkey Earthquake - Death toll 1000? and rising
 

Some vids of the aftermath from the 7.2 that hit Turkey yesterday, the loss of lives and the structural damage is devastating :(

Edit - Channel 4 reported the death toll was 1000 but the BBC is saying almost 300.

Omg my sister is going to Turkey tonight on holiday! Is Marmaris or other 'holiday towns' affected?

My father in law is going to marmaris next week. Wonder if he will be able to go :/

The epicentre was 16km north-east of Van according to the BBC.
