Weird eh?

It's like people only notice the outragous 'bias' when the balance is against their fave HM or something... :joker:

Vicky. 27-10-2011 07:23 PM

Because its pretty much the first time since the show began that its happened...

If it had been like that for the past 4 weeks non-stop, Im sure you would have plenty of people saying it was biased :)

Well of COURSE we notice if someone is slating a favourite HM,and in Aarons case it happens everynight,so we are bound to post on it?Isn't that what supporting a HM is all about?

MTVN 27-10-2011 07:26 PM

First time I've watched BOTS for ages and I was surprised at how pro-Aaron a crowd it was given what's said on here, but I obviously haven't seen most of the other episodes so maybe it was a first

Samuel. 27-10-2011 07:28 PM

The problem people had before was that every night the crowd seemed anti-Aaron. Not just a one off. When Aaron gets positive crowd reactions consistently for a few weeks, maybe you'd have an argument.

luminoussun 27-10-2011 07:31 PM

I believe they had so many complaints about how bias bbots have been, they had to balance up the crowd with aaron fans

jyunga 27-10-2011 07:33 PM

I watch BOTS every night and i've never noticed it be anti-Aaron except a couple nights ago it was horrible. Last night it was cooled down and kinda pro-Aaron aside from everyone on the panel thinking he is going this week.

Saph 27-10-2011 07:37 PM

Ive never seen this 'anti-Aaron' crowd that people rave on about.. anyone who doesnt watch it and reads some of the comments here would think they all turn up with pitchforks and pictures of his head on a spear :conf:

To be honest, I watch it every night and they never really talk about Aaron anyway (unless theres some more Faye drama) so the audience rarely get the chance to be 'anti-Aaron'. They hated Anton waaay more, but no one really posted about that :/

Except it obviously dosen't happen every night.

Aaron fans just seem to bitch about it when it does and stay quiet when is dosen't.

People love to over-exaggerate to make them look like theyre being hard done by.

Exactly i think it was actually the first time there was a decent amount of Aaron fans there throughout the whole series

armand.kay 27-10-2011 07:47 PM

No the crowd is just ****ing stupid when Jemma said something bad about Aaron they cheered when Vanessa said something good about him they cheered...

Which is exactly what happens when the audience is a random sample... Sometimes it will be what you want to hear, sometimes it won't. That's the point.

It was the silly conspiracy of audience fixing that this thread was really meant to underline.

I just noticed that those same people didn't post saying,"oh, I was wrong, the audience is not engineered to be against Aaron because BB hate him"

But... silence...

I expect next time the majority in the audience don't like him we will be back at BB and BOTS hating Aaron though.

Bias is when someone constantly gets good, (or bad), coverage most of the time, if there was a really pro Aaron audience on bbbots for a change, then it can hardly be bias, since it's such a rarity that happens now.

Gosh you people make excuses for EVERYTHING.

alex_front2 28-10-2011 04:16 PM

I think C5 realised the couldn't get away with it, plus Aaron is a cash cow.

Lets face it. He gives plenty of ammunition to the critics.
Biggest baby in the house and sulks if he does not get his own way.
I have no doubt he will be successful because he has spent ten years planning this. He knows all the pit falls and he knows that John James got most support when he played the distressed act.
It is just a pity people are so easily fooled.
