Aarons 'Alex in the final' Speech

Did he really mean it in a nice way or did he pretty much expose himself by saying "I think she could have gone this week if she was up" Therefore he wanted her in the final as he doesn't see her as a threat to win rather than "because it'll mean a lot to her". Going back to what Harry said about Aaron studying past series and winners he's probably relating Louise to Sophie Reade so sees her as a bigger threat than Alex.

Another interesting fact, he's never not nominated Jay for 5 weeks in a row yet this week went for two people he has never nominated before...

I guess it depends on whether people like him, those that dont will obviously plump for the negative point,I think he knows Alex is popular and imo he probably wants to go up against a winner as it will be more of a challenge.I dont see he thinks Louise is a threat.

I believe aaron was worried about upsetting princess alexandra's subjects

GypsyGoth 31-10-2011 11:34 PM

Arron's face will be priceless if Alex beats him in the final

That's exactly what puts me off Aaron. He is so sure he is going to win this show and the trouble is he probably will. I live in hope Alex does it though.

I don't think Aaron is actually that bothered if he doesn't win, he just wanted to make the final... So I think he genuinely would be happy if Alex won.

Oh he wants to win. Desperately.

I can't work that part out. Sometimes I think he wants Alex to win and other times I think he wants to win himself. Maybe he flits between both. In fairness if he wanted Alex out he has had enough time to throw her under the bus. I guess now that Harry has gone Alex is Aaron's closest ally.

Yes of course he'd like to win, but he has always said he wanted to get to the final. I think he would happy for Alex to win...

StraightEdge695 01-11-2011 01:01 AM

well my mum and dad watch the show and they dont see alex finishing any higher than 4th place.. aaron probably feels the same way, i dont see why shes so popular with bookies...

jyunga 01-11-2011 01:02 AM

They all want to win. You don't go on a show for 2 months and hope to get nothing out of it. They all are there for a reason. That doesn't mean they can't have their own favourite. When you say "i'd love to see <name> win" it's obviously they mean after them. Unless someone REALLY needs the money... which I doubt anyone on that show does.

headaball 01-11-2011 01:03 AM

I think he meant it in a nice way.

It doesn't come across in the highlights as much but he gets on really well with Alex judging from the clips posted online. He has never nominated her either.

Bookies don't choose who is popular, they base their odds on how much money is placed on them and Alex has had the most so far.

MachoPoodle 01-11-2011 06:14 AM

I don't believe for a second he wants Alex in the final, he just wants it to look like he cares for her, which is a completely different thing. And I think the reason why he has stopped nominating Jay is because he used to think Jay might be a threat, but don't believe him to be anymore and therefor it doesn't really matter when he goes as long as he does eventually.

He might be a game player but he has never nominated his close friends...Harry and Alex, neither has he nommed his on/off girlfriend who has bounced back remarkedly well given they have split up...except of course last nght when she was two to the left..:joker:

karl100589 01-11-2011 08:07 AM

Could it possibly be that Aaron wants Alex in the final so that she can split the Geordie and teen vote with Jay?

I think the same. I think it's important to Aaron that he reaches the final, but winning the game I'm not too sure. I certainly don't believe he thinks he can win the show.

Then again this is Aaron and as many have said in the past he is one housemate difficult to read at times.

Nah, If anything he knows she's popular on the outside because they heard her name being chanted at one of the eviction show iirc

Of course he wants to get to the final that's his only chance of winning.

I could be wrong but I have a vague recollection of the HMs commenting on Alex name being chanted
