Jay shows his principles

The way he tried to Pick Aaron up was not the actions of a Man vying for control or popularity, but showed he thinks of people before thinking of the money!

Also his advise to Faye was just what you'd expect from a genuine person

What do you think?

power2thepeople 02-11-2011 12:36 AM

Have to agree although I do find him repulsive....as an individual lone wolfpack member, he seems keen to create harmony and it seems very genuine. After watching his attempts to find conversational points with Aaron, I would personally prefer him in the top 3 than someone such as Tom who relishes tension in anticipation of a good bitchfest. Never thought I'd say that!:shocked:

MachoPoodle 02-11-2011 01:00 AM

I think what he said to Faye was the most to the point and true advice she's been given in there. Even if she at this point is not strong enough to follow it, I think it was very rude of her to completely ignore it like she did. We've got 2 ears and only 1 mouth for a reason. It's not her fault Aaron treats her like crap, but it is her responsibility to not continue letting him.

As for Jay personally, I completely understand why so many find him revolting, but I can't help quite liking him despite everything. He's got some horrible traits, and some great.

I'm with you there Macho.

showtime77 02-11-2011 01:51 AM

This is the first time I found myself liking Jay. He tried to do a kind thing for Aaron so at last I thought Jays actions were Disco!

MTVN 02-11-2011 01:57 AM

It's funny how people on here have said it's only because Jay knows Aaron is so popular that they've started becoming friends and yet Tom and Faye seem to think it's Aaron who's up Jay's ass

I agree Cromwell, he made a big effort to cheer both Aaron & Faye up and try and get the house in good spirits again when nobody else would bother

Yep! the good thing about this time around was the power has completely shifted to Jay's side, the contrast between Jay's use of it and Aarons was pretty obvious. I found myself thinking back to the two of them with Aaron ignoring Jay, and just how easy would it be for Jay to score some points here, almost reckless not to if your playing games. Really good night for him.

luminoussun 02-11-2011 03:18 AM

jay is just a decent guy with fowl habits.
I think sometimes yuou have to weigh up the whole personality of someone rather then focus on the negatives

Your argument is invalid because of the the people who have said it....Jay pulled it out of the bag last night and showed he is more than a one trick pony, I think he showed some of he fellow HMs up for what they really are bullying bitches...Aaron HAD tried to speak to Faye when he gave her a cuddle in bed but she chose to forget that bit when she was ranting at Jay sayng he hadnt come near her all day, I thought Jay cut her off nicely, and given 5 minutes before she was bitching about him Faye didnt exactly kick him out of bed ...so I ask who is the one messing with minds...?

Visage 02-11-2011 06:59 AM

Yes Jay has been more of a decent bloke this week than any other of the weeks in there. I do genuinely think he tried to get Aaron out of this latest depressive mood.

I don't believe Jay's intentions are because he thinks Aaron is the favourite, especially when he knows he has had some of the best cheers from the crowd.

Angus 02-11-2011 07:03 AM

Jay is now playing to the gallery because he can smell the money. His nice guy act doesn't fool me, he is sucking Aaron's a*se because he knows he's popular. I haven't forgotten how vile he and his wusspack were to Aaron in the early weeks. Jay is your typical coward, safety in numbers when they want to pick on people, but utter wusses on their own.

Jesus. 02-11-2011 07:47 AM

He was likable for a split second last night. When he was leader of the puppies, and they thought they were in control of the house, he was constantly slagging Aaron off to anyone that would listen. This new attitude has happened incrementally with every time he's had his arse handed to him on on eviction night.

GabbygalEvs 02-11-2011 08:20 AM

sorry i havent forgotten him asying aarons playing a game and hes going to rip them all apart when he was in the crypt he only started tlaking to aaron when anton left

why wa she slagging him off to jem the minute he came back

dont be fooled

And what's his reason for trying to cheer up Faye and give her advice then? Because he's beaten her in the voting now

And Aaron's under breathe comments about them went under the radar for you?

Yeh ok.

RodHull 02-11-2011 01:05 PM

Not being offensive, but he is a typical ill educated bloke. Hes not a bad person, hes crude, a bit vile, holds some offensive views but ultimately he wants to have a laugh and relax. He is very easily led (despite his appearance) Anton pretty much corrupted him, I think he never hated Aaron as much as he appeared to.

I also think he believes Faye is the main culprit for 90% of their arguments.

Beso 02-11-2011 02:25 PM

Jay's just about the most normal bloke i9n there.

MrWong 02-11-2011 02:27 PM

It makes a change from showing his arse.

MeMyselfAndI 02-11-2011 02:32 PM

He showed he was a suck-ass!
Anyway theres only 5 people so he has to talk to them all, so it's not like hes this kind guy. Louise had a convosation straight away..

IMO there is nothing normal about a bloke doing this.

Writing messages in blood..

Wiping your arse on someone's pillow..

Shaving your arse...

Putting your own poo in a freezer (actually putting any poo in a freezer)...

Pissing on people when taking a shower...

Nothing wrong with a DIY back sack n crack, and id hazard a guess 95% of Bodybuilders do it. Just google Bodybuilder & thong and you'll see what i mean:joker:.......:nono:

Messages in Blood... I wouldn't criticize him for that.

The rest of it isn't right imo and deserves criticism.

Im not joking, what makes you think it was all for the cameras then?

Anyway i wouldn't rule it out but Hm's intentions are rarely unquestionably pure to us viewers, it's often a case of giving them the benefit of the doubt, and if you think the particular Hm deserves it.
