Fayes tabloid interview

The sexy evictee, 19, was shocked when her mum Chrissie and sister Jem both blasted Aaron for the way he treated her in the house'
But pro wrestler Faye last night hit back, saying: “Aaron makes me *happy and that’s all that matters. I’m not going to try and convince my family to like him.
“Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but I will still like Aaron regardless of what they think I should do.
“I’m close to my family and want them to be a part of my life with Aaron but it won’t affect us even if they never approve.
“It really affected Aaron when he realised they didn’t like him and I was surprised by the reaction he’s had with the public.
"But I’ve got to go with what’s in my heart and I’ve got no doubt it will last between us.”
Faye was booted out on Friday when viewers turned against her and Aaron after saving them in the past.
But despite many housemates claiming Aaron has a game plan to win, Faye insisted: “I know Aaron better than anyone and I don’t think he’s playing a game.
“He might be using certain *situations to his advantage to progress in the game.
“I think that’s just taking on board what he’s seen in past series.
“He’s not done anything in a malicious or manipulative way. He’s not being fake at all.”
Tamworth-born Faye also hit back at Aaron’s critics. “We had fun times together that viewers didn’t see. If it had just been arguments, we’d have realised it wasn’t worth it,” she said.
“He upset me quite a lot of the time. That was Aaron and everyone deals with things in *different ways.
“But people would be surprised at how funny Aaron is if they met him. We’ll be together forever.
“In my head it’s a long-term thing.”
She left to a chorus of boos after fans voted to save Louise Cliffe, 25.
Faye said: “I think *people had seen enough of the rocky rollercoaster that was me and Aaron.“That might have got people wanting me out. I got emotional and there were times when it was overwhelming. Some situations were difficult to deal with.
“When my sister Jem walked out I seriously considered quitting. Things aren’t always rational in there and a small situation can turn into something massive.”

Faye has risen massively in my opinion of her.

Black Dagger 05-11-2011 10:57 PM

Good lass, she's genuine... I like the 'I'l stick with Aaron, everyone is entitled to their opinions' vibe she's given out, it's great.

Gillian-73 05-11-2011 10:58 PM

good for her! i did think she might be swayed until last night and then i knew she'd not allow herself to be.

and me - just goes to show what they spoon feed us - we had her down as an emotional wreck, that was swayed too easily by others when in fact she has stood her ground against all those trying to turn her against Aaron

I also noted that she didnt seem to stick around for the end of BBOTS when Lauren was "singing"

Florence N 05-11-2011 11:01 PM

Well done Faye !!!!!!

Great interview, good on Faye for not letting people on the outside influence her on her feeling of how she feels about Aaron.

So they're still going with 19 even though it's been clearly proved she's 21?

22..actually, we had a long thread about dis, where someone dragged up her Birth Extract, and seems she's born 2 Sept 1989.

Didn't take her long to get off the Tom bandwagon!

I've always had a soft spot for Faye and there have been times when I've really disliked her in there, but I'm really pleased that she has stood up and backed herself in the whole Aaron situation. I really wish her the very best and hope that she and Aaron make a go of it once the whole panto is finally over.

Yep, and I wonder what she thinks of Harry now? :nono:

I'm not sure Faye is aware of what a strong fan base Aaron has and that we like so many different things about him. She says in the article that people would be surprised at how funny Aaron is. I think we know that. I'm surprised Faye has Aaron's back now she is out of the house because I never felt she had his back inside the house. Perhaps the pressure of being the house just made her a little nuts.

I agree.

Faye said on BOTS "I don't think you saw that" several times. We were clearly shown little of their fun times together which obviously didn't show us their relationship in a true light. I don't think we're surprised about that after all the Aaron bashing that's been going on but it seems to have been detremental to Faye also.

I know I had a wrong impression of her in the house and was very impressed with her on BOTS. Especially impressed with the way she refused to be drawn in by Jamie East's crude Louise gestures. She equited herself really well last night and it's a great shame she wasn't given the opportunity, by Alice, to reply to the awful tirade on their relationship, by Lauren.

@bbuk faye do you think people's perception of Aaron will make you change your mind about him? I personally think you shouldn't.

@creamy_erin No, I'm going on what's in my heart and in my head, and what I've observed 24/7 for two months.

Credit where credit's due, whatever we may or may not think of Faye or even what we thought of her in that house, she has done Aaron proud so far since being out the BB house. Hopefully she won't be swayed by the awful BBs BOTS presenters who never lived in that house, and so know less than Faye would about Aaron. So far she has and hopefully she will continue to fight Aaron's corner. I have no idea if there are hidden motives to her bigging up Aaron, but I am prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt there, at least she is no turncoat unlike harry.
