Is Kelly the worst judge and mentor ever on the X Factor anywhere in the world?

OK as a judge she is a disgrace. Constantly talking over other people picking on Louis too often and saying some of the most retarded things (hypocrite aswell)

As a mentor she is even worse. She had the best category by a country mile at the Judges House stage. She had the favourite who everyone adored, and since has turned Janet into a joke in many people's eyes, alot to do with song choices and styling. She already had 2 very talented acts in the bottom 2 and Sophie has already left while much less talented vocalists are still in the competition.

She chucked out Amelia, who at 16 has a great future in the industry and was definitely a potential winner of this show and in general she has made many poor decisions with her acts and destrpyed them by going home 'sick' for a week.

Kelly should not be back next year to destroy more of her acts and the show in general.

By the way I agree what i read on youtube... Janet was better before she came on the X factor... the show has ruined her.

Yes, what on earth was she thinking sending the most talented contestant home first :bored:

For me the X Factor does this every year, potentially good artistes are hampered by the themed weeks and songs they are expected to sing. No artiste worth anything would sing a song they didn't like, want to or couldn't but on X Factor this becomes the norm and singers have their best restricted more than brought out.

I also totally agree with you as to Kelly as a judge and mentor, she is way too loud and very arrogant and rude too.

Janet would have been nobody if she didn't go on X-factor so I disagree that it has ruined her. Kelly deserves to have an opportunity to show what kind of judge she is, she's not had enough time imo

I agree, the themed weeks really do kill alot of people on these shows. I don't like how everyone says Janet is predictable bla bla bla, but thats what a musician is most of the time, rather predictable. It is hard for someone to be a rock star, sing club songs and also give us great ballads. Most singers aren't that diverse and are suited to their own style.

That doesnt just apply to Janet, but most people, I think Marcus has been so consistent until now because every performance of his has been similar and quite upbeat. That is the type of singer he is and its quite enjoyable aswell, but not as unique as others.

The next week it is likely they will sing 2 songs, so I would like the theme to be quite broad and allow the mentors and acts to pick a song from a variety of songs that could suit them.

Totally agree with you joeysteele. You summed up exactly what many people think. Johnny Robinson is a great Ballad singer so naturally he (and others) are going to be out of their comfort zone. These theme weeks are rediculous and many possible winners of X-factor leave early because of them (theme weeks).

As for Kelly Rowland. Personally I think she is extremely aggressive and, to a point, a bully (especially towards Louis). I don't rate her and with her getto attitude I believe she is a bad influence on young people.

Thank you for your agreement with me,I appreciate that and also return the compliment too because all you say is totally correct.
The format of the X Factor is they are looking for originality on the singers then they have them do songs that totally restrict that originality that may be there.

I certainly couldn't sit on the same panel as Kelly, she is way too aggressive as you pointed out too.

She's horrible on the panel...

Really nasty, I don't like her AT ALL, I hope she doesn't return next year, but I don't want Miss Cole back either.

She's not suited for the UK version of the show. I think she has the personality to be a judge on the X Factor, just not in this country, her personality is very American (well, obviously, but it doesn't transfer well onto our screens IMO) and, for example, in that argument with Louis last night about how he shouldn't tell someone what they'll never be - they're all hired to judge, judging is what they do, he has every right to tell someone what his judgment is. She shouldn't be on there. I'd be happy to see the back of her and Gary.
