Birthday Presents

Read on another Forum that both Loo and Jay have donated £500 each from their share of the prize money to buy presents for Alex and Tom (Shoes for Alex a watch for Tom) apparently Aaron initially was in for it but withdrew upsetting both Loo and Jay! BB apparently agreed to this and will deliver the said gifts later.

Selfish Aaron :nono:

They've suddenly found £10,000 in their pocket that they didn't expect to have, no need to be stingy with it

InOne 06-11-2011 04:24 PM

I guess the value of money is disorted in the house. Aaron was wise to opt out

fingers 06-11-2011 04:27 PM

£500 for a pair of shoes probably is normal for Louise - what Jay is expecting for a £500 watch is debatable!

They dont really sound too happy about doing it actually. A bit weird if the idea was just to be nice :S

As soon as jay came out of the diary room he said he felt sick about doing it...and Louise moaned that Alex doesnt share her stuff

Yeah I thought that too  suppose it was a bit of a spontaneous decision

an empty gesture designed to make them look good which has backfired spectacularly then, if the money doesnt get split, Jay still has 15,000 and surely will give 5,000 to his betrothed.so they are both okay....Aaaron and Tom could end up with 990 and 10 quid respectively...it will be interesting to see how this is edited and the reason Aaron gave for not joining in...for goodness sake who spends 500.00 on a birthday gift...

rusticgal 06-11-2011 04:34 PM

£500.00 is a large amount of money.......Aaron has a son to think of.There is no guarantee that they will keep their word and split the money when they leave!! who knows what debts or commitments he might have made to his family if he wins the money...so why would he want to be extravagant and give that amount to Alex and Tom...lets face it Toms been a complete arsehole to Aaron.

As always true to himself as always.... he is prepared always to not be 'a sheep' even if it may be seen as being mean or not playing along with the others.

No real need to be stingy, they are all racking up hefty Per Diem expenses.

fruit_cake 06-11-2011 04:37 PM

why does Alex always get given everything?? It makes me so mad

Roy Mars III 06-11-2011 04:39 PM

Thank god he backed out.

No matter, Aaron may have got wind that Alex may not keep her word, so why should he throw another 500 quid at her...madness.

Looking at that Video, Loo and Jay had real second thoughts about their (probably) spur of the moment lapse of sense!:joker:

Gillian-73 06-11-2011 04:44 PM

500 quid for a birthday present! i've never spent that amount on a birthday present for my family or people i love so i wouldn't in there either and i sure wouldn't do it to look good!

StraightEdge695 06-11-2011 04:45 PM

money wasted on fake hair and now on stupid shoes even though the show will end in less than a week.. whats the point?

karezza 06-11-2011 04:48 PM

They are buying popularity.

Would have probably worked better if they didnt show instant regret...

Though that bit will probably be missing from the HLs

Cherie 06-11-2011 04:53 PM
