They probably just won't eliminate anyone the night before the final

So a final 2 and not final 3 or even 4 like recent years?

I think it's different this year because xmas is on a sunday? normally they do it so that the winning single is #1 on xmas day

So the Christmas number 1 will be revealed on Christmas day? :D

Its 9th/10th December. They aren't going for Christmas #1 this year because of the way ITVs schedule fell. Quite possible that we won't have an X Factor Christmas #1 and by no fault of a campaign
