Alex's hygiene - does she wash her face?

Does Alex wash her face, in fact does she shower/ bath (never seen her in there)?

She seems to wake up and put make up on immediately. No wonder she has bad skin if this is the case.

Pyramid* 07-11-2011 12:36 PM

Many women DONT use soap and water on their faces - but use cleansing wipes, toners and moisturers instead.

I've seen her using wipes (along with many of the other females in there) - than I have seen them washing their faces with soap/water or being in the shower.

I don't know about shower, but I have seen her in the bath a few times. I think she is very self conscious and thats why she puts make up on before even getting out of bed

Also noticed Louise seems to wake up with yesterdays make up still on her face, surely a model should know better?

fruit_cake 07-11-2011 12:37 PM

I don't think she washes her hair, she uses talc to soak up the grease

Who gives a ****

Roy Mars III 07-11-2011 12:50 PM

She has not washed once since Day 1.

Marc 07-11-2011 12:52 PM

Washing your face with soap and water washes away the natural oils you need in your skin. It will only make your acne worse, you shouldn't wash your face every day like this. In fact I'm pretty sure I haven't washed my face like that in ages and my skin is much better than it used to be!

Benjamin 07-11-2011 12:56 PM

Yes, Alex has bathed. She even won products to put in her bath. What a pointless thread. :bored:

I want controversy back now

Yes, soap and water is very bad for the skin

Tom 07-11-2011 12:59 PM

The less you use on your face the better, even so called 'gentle' baby or face wipes

Water is more than enough

so too did Maisy - and given that they both had dyed blonde hair and extensions: fine well you know it was more to do with trying to lessen the dark roots showing.

Wrong. Water is not 'more than enough'. It does not remove the dirt, grease, natural build of oils on the surface, nor does it clean pores etc.

Not an Alex fan..but sorry, this thread simply doesn't wash with me!

no pun intended, 'onest !

I'm not on about a cat lick, if you use a face cloth and warm water, it will clean your pores out. Thats what I do and I hardly ever get spots, genuinely can't remember the last time I had one.

By using other things you're just adding unnecessary chemicals to your face which clogs your pores up further and makes your face greasy.

I know some people have to use other things because of they naturally have greasy skin but if you don't have to use anything, then don't.

And oddly drinking lots of water helps too, I've never quite understood that one though.

If you find that works for you, fine.

I'm equally adamant that water alone, does not cleanse the skin.

Drinking water hydrates the skin - if the skin is not hydrated, it will draw in moisture from where it can - ie; the atmosphere - which is full of dirt, grease, smog etc - hence it will draw in dirt into the pores etc.

But steam from warm water opens pores, face cloth cleans them out, and then wash face with cold water and that closes them again. I've been told that and seems quite logical, and always works for me. Maybe I'm just lucky with my skin type?

Cheap thread.

Yus ! it's turning into a bit of a soap opera!

Marc 07-11-2011 01:40 PM

The OP could go into the house and scrub her if they wish. If it makes them feel better about the whole situation..

You do what suits you - if it works for you, great stuff.

It is indeed - but hey: may as well have a giggle while it's here - sometimes it's nice to gel now and then

We are now all in danger of getting into hot water! On the face of things, I think we should declare this thread a complete & utter white-wash Pure & simple.
