The new anti-Aaron line of attack on BBOTs was to suggest that Aaron controls the house, not BB. :joker:

I'm so bored of this anti-Aaron talk on here now. I say C5 have ruined this years show but all this crap about anti-Aaron comes in at a very close second for spoiling it for me.

I have to agree. the blantant Anti Aaron and until recently, the Pro-Jay thing .... I doubt I'll be a big fan after this year if it stays with Ch5.

why do people go on about bots being anti aaron when they talk positively and about every hm??

also, they say bots audience are all jay/alex fans :bored: it's not

I'd see that as a compliment to Aaron if it were true, that he'd managed to take control of a situation where a lot of control was removed by agreeing to live under an authoritarian regime.

The reason why they stopped being pro-Jay was that Jay's behaviour become indefensible and the production team switched to being more pro-Alex the week Anton left.

They have shown good and bad about each housemate that has stirred it up in the house

Nope, they have shown nothing bad about Louise, Alex and Tom

E.g. whenever someone dares to say anything negative about Louise it's rapidly shot down by Emma or met with a 'how can you say that, Louise is lovely' response. No debate.

When someone tried to debate about Alex pretending to be stupid it was shot down by Alice Levine. No debate. Short changing a blind woman was quickly glossed over. Would it have been glossed over if it was Aaron..or even Jay?

Tom's 2 face weasel nature has been over-looked. He bitches about Aaron behind his back throughout all 9 weeks and this is never talked about. When he threatened to 'spark up' in Aaron's face over Maisy gate kiss it didn't even get a mention on BBOTs. Tom gets away with bad behaviour n bitching due to his size and the 'gays can bitch' dictat.

Please Explain?
 

I find Aaron very munipulative, ok I give he can be amusing with the way he walks and dances. Aaron fans please answer me how how can you put a person that is so snide and sefish on such a pedastal? In would be my worst nightmare to live in a house with somone like that. I find him so smug and arragant. Are all these aaron fans deluded or am I missing somthing.

I know what you are sayin but with Louise & Alex nothing has actualy kicked off in the house because they have not done anything.
They may not be allowed to discuss Alex short changing the blind lady, maybe there is legal issues, i dunno...
Yes Tom did get away with that but Faye was involved and then it became the Aaron & Faye issue wich caused more of a fuss in the house

You're missing something. Are Man Utd selfish for wanting to win the Premiership? Was Muhammed Ali selfish for wanting to win boxing World Championships? BB is a competition, Aaron's competing, and doing better than the rest of the competition. It's a popularity contest and he's become more popular than the rest of the HMs. We don't have to live in the house, so I don't see why that's bothering you, but if we did, I'd much traher live in a house with Aaron than some (actually all) of the others . They'd all drive me crazy - Alex and Tom with their stupid, childish songs, Louise with her stunted vocabulary and Jay with his hair trigger temper. No thanks, I'd rather have a bit of sulking if that was the choice.

Aaron has had to put up with Jay's violent taunts since day 4 when the newly formed Wolfpack realised that Aaron wasn't going to obey their rules.

Aaron is competing that is so true, but at the same time he is bleating on about him being himself and that other people are trying to win votes. Dont really think its a great comparison. I am not really a big fan of anybody but really dislike Aaron as he is so manipulative and sneaky and dont think these our qualitys that should be admired.

That's why I like him, he's like a BBUS (vastly superior to our version). It's a game show. He wants to win. 100m sprinter Usain Bolt doesn't say, 'Nope, don't want to win.' In fact when he does all those bolt arm things he makes it obvious that HE WILL win! :joker:

You clearly don't watch BOTS very often do you?! :joker: It is literally only within the last week that they have said anything positive about him, no doubt as a result of the constant complaints they have received about it...

Quite simply I don't find him snide or selfish... Though I can see those traits in the other housemates. He is being himself. And quite how he can be this massive gameplayer that everyone makes him out to be, as surely if he really was like that he would be sucking up to them all in there & not having strops & getting into arguments, no?

BBOTs even took the p*ss on Sunday out of people who complain about the anti-Aaron bias and lack of LF.

It's all about context though. Within the confines of the house a certain amount of manipulation is required to survive, and Aaron has done very well at this, even managing to manipulate things to give Faye a better chance of survival at one point. Bad mouthing other housemates is also a valid tactic in what is a popularity contest, and it's a tactic they've all indulged in, not just Aaron. Saying that these qualities shouldn't be admired in a BB contestant is like saying Usain Bolt shouldn't be admired for running faster than everyone else over 100m.

Outside of the house is a different matter of course, I wouldnt like to be friends with someoone who is manipulative and sneaky, but we have no reason to think Aaron is like that in real life when it seems clear the tactics he is employing inside the house are part of what is required to win that particular competition.

I fail to understand how some people miss the fact that this is actually a game show and therefore you have to be somewhat manipulative in order to win. I wouldn't say Aaron is sneaky at all not in the general sense - the only expection I would say was on the day BB told them they can talk about nominations and he went around ensureing that Faye would not be up againt himself only and therefore ensured that there was a large group going up. It made it exciting as you didn't know who would be evicted.

Sneaky: possibly - great tv: hell yeah!

It's no bleddy wonder the nicey-nicey don't do anything to tip the boat HM's always win if the ones that make the show and create drama are always voted out or hated! And this is probably the reason why the show has gone down drastically in popularity!
