THE OLD MAN TALKING ABOUT WAR ON THE BBC

i woke on Friday,
the BBC were in my bed,
these stupid childish games,
are playing with theJoe's head.
i thought O-M-G,
when on was bought this old chap,
and i hate people that stereotype,
that's why in theJoe deserves to be a cap.
he was lovely,
so modest, decent and brave,
and that's whats in my head,
it did automatically save.
i did not catch your name sir,
it was very rude and i am sorry,
but you have my 100% support,
and if anyone reads my nut case poem,you are the glory.
for my freedom you fought,
and i was not even born,
that's why the young should respect,
to all the old and war memorials, the UK should be sworn.

your age and strength is a pleasure,
but the freedom in the UK today,
is your treasure.

About servicemen, ex or current ones, I think they deserve our respect.
They are not politicians.

Joe I'm glad you're still writing your poetry,
Some may not like it, but it's your artistry,
I may not always agree with your view
but that doesn't mean that I don't like YOU:blush:

Keep on expressing yourself how you want Joe.
And of course all servicemen and women past and present deserve our gratitude and respect - they don't create the wars, genocide and tyranny, they just defend us from those that do.
