Aarons eviction crowd

Interesting read from Ds,makes me wonder if Aaron was just unlucky with the crowd they let in.
I went to the final but...........

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

didn''t get in :-(

We got in the queue at 5. Plenty of people in front and yes, there were buses parked, so I am assuming the tales of bus loads of geordies were true - but they would have most definitely been at the front of the queue.

By 5.30 there were many more people queuing. Most people around me were Aaron fans, a few Alex fans, no Jay fans and a lone Louise fan. Lots of placards for Aaron.

Doors were due to open at 7.30. At 6.00 a steward came down the line to see who had priority tickets. I never even gave it a thought and carried on queuing and soaking up the good atmosphere amongst BB fans. There was no animosity for preferring different HMs or any sign that the crowd near me would be 'booers'.

6.30 I decide to look at my ticket and notice it says priority. So my daughter goes off to find out what we need to do, only to be told we were too late and all the priority ticket holders had gone in. So we wait.

7.30 the stewards come down the line counting and cut the queue off 20 people ahead of us and tell the rest of us (600 in estimation) that they are full. Mayhem followed as most of us had been queuing for hours in the bloomin cold!
We hung around till 5 to 9 trying to blag our way in. Gave up and sprinted back to the hotel - luckily just down the road - and watched in our room. We did get to see the fireworks from our window though haha.
So, had I not been so stupid and realised I had priority tickets I would not have had to queue and would have got in.
On the plus side, Aaron won.

Irrespective of your original thought kazanne, it seems a bit ludicrous printing so many more tix than they have space for - 600 turned away!!!!! Poor beggars, that must have been so frustrating.
