Anybody backpacked New Zealand/French Polynesia?
 
I'm just trying to plan routes, things to do and see and thought I'd try here in the slim hope that one of you may have actually been or will be going to New Zealand for some info. :)

I havent backpacked but been around NZ. I love Queenstown but it is probably quite expensive and touristy for a backpacker. But it is an amazing stunning place.
