Random Question Thread

I'm sure many of you, like myself, have those random questions just pop into your head for no reason. Well here is a place to ask them and get your answers.

Just now whilst sat outside drinking my coffee I suddenly wondered what a 'cows lick' is. I know it is something to do with hair, I think Kerry mentioned it the other day, but what exactly is it?

God, this is hard to describe.

Front of hair, like fringe - doesn't sit down straight but has a perm wave in it, which looks like a cows tongue when it's licking something.....

That just looks like a weird version of curtains. Who is that in the photo?

I always thought it was called a cows lick because it looks like a cow had licked it and that's why it sticks up the way it does?
