Christine Bleakley to host Dancing On Ice; Holly leaves for The Voice

Just been confirmed by Philip Schofield that Holly Willoughby has left Dancing On Ice due to other commitments. Christine Bleakley will now become his co-host.

It's yet to be confirmed by the BBC, but word is that Holly has been picked to host their new singing talent show The Voice

I really really really like Holly, so will be happy if she is the host.

The Voice is shaping up nicely, let's hope the three remaining mentors are decent.

Wow! So does this mean Holly will leave This Morning as well then?

I don't think she can do the voice if she's contracted to ITV? :conf2:

Pretty certain shes not contracted to ITV, she did something for Channel 5 a while back and went on BBLB when it was on Channel 4

Shes still doing Celeb Juice and This Morning anyway, but its a good excuse for them to kick Christine off Daybreak

Will be interesting to see if ITV drop her if The Voice happens to take off and rivals X Factor

Christine will still be fronting Daybreak

Holly says that an announcement regarding her 'other commitment' is due next week

Surely it's got to be The Voice - I can't think of anything else that would require her to leave Dancing On Ice?

ITV want her & Adrian off it. He's hardly ever on it anymore and will probably leave soon but they can't find her any other shows.

Quite a few press reports out now and shes not denying it on Twitter. The Voice judging line up is due to be announced soon so it fits in well. The only other possibilities would be judging BGT but thats pretty unlikely or hosting Big Brother, and shes hardly going to quit the biggest reality show in the first part of the year for a failing one on Channel 5.

Didn't think it was possible for this show to get even worse but they've managed it

He has football commitments which is why he's not always on but I can see him leaving off his own will in the near future or ITV choosing to replace him with Dan Lobb. I do not see Christine leaving anytime soon though.

If you think he's awful on Daybreak then you should see him on the football

er Manchester er..erm the er Manchester United play er the er the Arsenal tonight

Not that I liked Holly's screechy voice much but it was better than Christine
