I do have family up there, but I'm visiting some uni friends. I love Edinburgh on NY, it's been a while since I've been there.

I don't really like the new year anymore, there is nothing worse than being completely sober and having drunk people talk pure crap, repeating the same **** over and over in your ear :bored:

God I sound miserable

Haha, I know, I'm sure I used to find anything amusing when I used to drink and must have looked like a complete t*t to anyone sober...now I watch any intelligent conversation disappear as the wine bottles empty..I like the idea of being home watching TV by 9pm....

Kate! 21-11-2011 09:47 AM

I like staying in on New Year, with loads of supplies and DVD's, all cosied up. I am soooo sad.

Benjamin 21-11-2011 09:47 AM

Way to ruin the party mood all of you. :bored:

HBB1508 21-11-2011 09:53 AM

At home watching TV with lots of wine and nibbles then dash out to watch the fireworks at midnight!

Black Dagger 21-11-2011 09:56 AM

To get royally drunk and not give a **** what anybody thinks...

Pretty much like every new year.

Are you actually having a murder party? I have always wanted to go to a murder mystery weekend, it sounds exciting.

Also I imagine you more like this when excited. :elephant:

Yes..but as I'm planning it, I haven't actually got a part..we've got a mixed group of ages and I imagine it falling apart when the alcohol starts flowing..but if it does, then so be it. I've been to one before, as a character...an Italian Opera singer who was overly fond of the vino...I got into the part too much and can't remember much...but I'm sure I as fabulous...LOL

I always end up deciding what to do last minute, one of my friends is thinking about having a house party for it which'd be good, although there's also a chance that I might be away skiing

Doogle 21-11-2011 04:23 PM

Never do anything except watch Jules Hollands hootananny or whatever with mum, aunt and nana. If someone invites me somewhere this year I'm going.

InOne 21-11-2011 04:33 PM

Sometimes I stay in sometimes end up going out at the last min. Dunno if I can be arsed this year though, all seems a big hassle for no reason. And it's always full of dickheads on new year :bored:

King Gizzard 21-11-2011 04:47 PM

hootenanny!
