What happened to the promise of Golden Ticket and £1/2 m prize money
 

Just out of interest why do you think C5 decided against having a golden ticket housemate and awarding £0.5m prize money this year?

They trailed £0.5m as the prize in all their media (OK!TV, Daily Star, C5, Star Mag etc) and during the auditions (I remember being almost tempted to audition but decided if picked I'd be evicted and booed by week 2 at the latest). However, mysteriously with a few weeks before the final, prize got reduced to £100K. They also made a big deal out of Mo and Mohammad Public being able to become a HM by being lucky Daily Star reader and getting into house by Golden ticket.

When promoting the Golden Ticket draw they quoted the prize as a whopping £500,000. Now Daily Star isn't known for it's accuracy or honest journalism, but it is part of the Desmond Empire that includes C5 so you'd have thought they'd just state the facts or at least know them.
