The two themes for this week's X Factor revealed
 

The two themes for this week's X Factor semi-final have been revealed.

For their first song, the final four will perform tracks from the Motown back catalogue. The second song each act performs will be 'The Song To Get You To The Final'.

How will The Song To Get You To The Final Theme work?

I guess it means they can choose any song they want. One that would suit them the best.

Its good when the contestants sing what suits them best as individuals. Hopefully there will be some good performances, Locke usually posts song choices ahead of the show as well.

In the final hope they bring back the 'best performance' theme singing song they got most praise for earlier in the show. What do you consider their best?

Amelia - her comeback song.
Misha B - Rolling in the deep.
Marcus - Reet Petite
Little Mix - ET

I think their best performances have been: amelia- China in your hand. Misha-Rolling in the deep. Marcus- reet petite. Little mix- Dont let go

im pretty sure this is going to be a new song choice of there own, not a previously performed one!

I'd expect to see Little Mix perform something that will appeal to a young audience for their second song (Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna songs have all fallen under that category.) The theme suits Marcus and Misha so I think Amelia's probably going to go this week.

i'd love amelia to do ET again

They will completely do a hatchet job on Amelia this week I am sure. On first, a stupid VT, crap judges comments about song choice and maybe saying she shouts again amongst other things. Still I think Amelia could survive it despite a possible sympathy bounce for Misha

Fair enough for the second theme but Motown is a little bit bias toward Misha and Marcus

I expect Marcus to shine this week, since it now appears there may be no sing off this week now, there will be likely stops pulled out to help Misha stay in too.

On paper though, there should be a good set of songs as long as they don't just repeat motown weeks of the past,particularly though the song they have to choose themselves,they should all be really strong performances.

Ugh. They are basically handing Marcus the prize.

Hmm, the theme suggests they're trying to push Amelia out next. General motown would suit Misha's voice more than Amelia;s (though Amelia's retty versatile!) can we please not vote for Misha either, had enough of her now!
