Ladyhawke to release second album in March

Ladyhawke has announced details for her upcoming second studio album Anxiety.

The record is the follow-up to her acclaimed self-titled release from 2008. It was recorded in New Zealand and France earlier this year and is produced by Pascal Gabriel.

The singer - real name Phillipa Brown - said: "I've made an album I'm really proud of, so I just can't wait to start playing with the band again, and touring and having some fun. I can't wait to get back into it."

Ladyhawke recently admitted that she found the pressure to record an album as successful as her debut "really stressful".

Anxiety will be released on March 19, 2012 through Modular Records.
