A final word
 

I've only had about 15 hours to take the news about Helen and Paul in, having heard very late on last night.

Had a miserable night, OH was actually quite sympathetic and resisted the temptation to call me a sad old cow (for a change). He is quite genuinely upset too.

I am filled with nostalgia and sadness and for once am glad of my horrendous workload to keep me occupied.


I am not going to attempt to write a final story - although it would be nice to think 'Casablinka' might come true.

I would just like to leave you with the words of Dolly Parton, and the sound of her ifinitely preferable version of 'I will always love you'.

I'm just disinhibited enough to tell you all how deperately upset I am.

Perhaps all the best love stories have to have a tragic ending. I just wish this one had a Hollywood sunset.
