If the early bird catches the worm...
then how can good things come to those who wait?
 |
Do you like eating worms?
|
|
Worms are not good things.

Worms are not good things.

Easy! I would say that when the bird goes to sleep at night, the "wait" is the duration of the sleep therefore it only has to wait a little while to get the worm as a reward for it's patience.
|
Because worms are ****ing disgusting to eat.
But if you wait, you could get cake. |
The early bird is merely rushing into things, sure the worm looks juicy and full on nutrition, but it just gave that bird rabies.
|
|
I'm gonna have nightmares now, ****.
|
Because proverbs are contradictory.

Or you could spin it and say- 'The Early Bird Catches The Worm But The Early Worm Gets Eaten'

the best things come to those that wait, but not those that wait too late!

the best things come to those who procrastinate because they have thought through their decision and re-assessed whether they really need that thing or not, they might then be able to go get it at a cheaper price on the internet
Might catch on |
A wise man said "Man who walks sideways in airport is going to BangKok.
Also Man who stands on toilet is high on pot. and finally Man who runs in front of car gets tired, Man who runs behind car gets exhausted. |
