Simon Cowell Signs 3 US Xfactor Finalists
"The X Factor" executive producer Simon Cowell, who co-owns Syco Music with Sony Music, has confirmed what many people have already predicted: that former "X Factor" U.S. finalists Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene and Astro will get record deals with Sony Music.
Bluesy rocker Krajcik, 30, came in second place in the competition in 2011. Hip-hop artist Rene, 28, came in third place. Controversial rapper Astro, 15, came in seventh place. (Astro's real name is Brian Bradley.) Syco Music has a deal with Sony Music to partner with larger Sony Music labels that can provide marketing, A&R and promotion for artists signed to Syco Music. The Sony Music labels that are most likely to partner with Syco for "X Factor" U.S. artists are Epic Records, Columbia Records and RCA Records. Astro & Chris :worship: |
I dont like this, the winner should be the only 1 that gets signed by SyCo, all their effort going in to making them a success. After 6 months of the result other labels should then be able to sign, I dont find it fair and it contradicts the objective of winning.

Simon will destroy both of them :nono:
Was hoping LA would be involved somehow. |
Astro is gonna keep to his promise in 5 years time this kid is gonna own everyone out there.
|
Don't think he should have done this, especially on the first series. It makes the whole process look a bit useless because really, four winners have come from it instead of just one. Oh, and...

Josh will release a cover album, not be promoted and flop
Syco ****ing suck. |
Josh and Chris were obviously gonna be signed, happy about Astro, but I'm surprised he didn't sign Drew...
|
Astro didn't look out of place one bit next to 50 Cent...he has a bright future. I just wish an actual renown hip hop label signed him and even Chris.
