The whole Anon thing is kind of confusing, yeah. It's like a franchise now. You have the hacker Anon, the Scientology protest Anon and the Anon who just like to post .gifs of dicks on 4Chan.

They're "hacktivists" apparently, I don't mind them most of the time, you'd have thought being hacked before would have taught Sony to improve their security really so if they do get taken down again it won't reflect well on them

at the end of the day although it might be a mild inconvenience to the users, whether it's of PSN or Facebook (they've tried to attack them) or other sites, they're essentially fighting against the misuse of personal information by said companies. The amount of privacy we've all sacrificed almost unknowingly is staggering.

This what they're fighting against, though acting like cyber terrorists doesnt help the anti-SOPA cause

Not yet, they were debating it before Christmas, a decision wasnt reached because some dickish senator decided he was bored and went on Twitter
