New Logo Ideas?
 

I don't know if anyone else is quite sick of the house logo yet but I think that it's a little tired now. I think maybe just changing the "o" in Big Brother to an eye, maybe using the old BBUK template, would make the logo a lot easier to advertise in the states, because not many people besides fans of the show know we have a big brother. Obviously if the template was used, we shouldn't copy the exact design just the template.

What do you guys think?

The logo doesn't need to change, the opening titles and song do though. They're terrible.

Keep the song and the titles. I think the logo does need changing tho. I really liked the canadian logo that they used for thier only season.

I agree on the titles but I like the song.

if they do change the titles use the bb8 aussie titles. Pretty good titles

CBS isn't exactly know for it's cutting edge modern design in the US on any of their shows. But i totally agree that we need an overhall. Not just the logo, the on air fonts, set, hell even the house. The producers I think should be talking notes from the uk version past and present about everything but the format.

But BBUSA has made some changes for the better over the years

S1: Old Format, pretty much taken from Netherlands
S2-5: New Format, New Eviction Style, New OT, New Logo
S6: New Theme, New House Layout, New Opening Sequence
S10: New Opening Sequence, New Text, Crowd Added
S11: Updated Theme Song

CBS does a great job on the Survivor titles, they always look good, and they've pretty much stayed the same since the first series, just with some minor changes. Personally i think they should update it, make it look more modern, but keep the same theme and formate, it's iconic now.

I agree Lostalex. I should of mentioned that they should keep the music. But the logo needs a little overhaul. I think we could be getting a new logo without the iconic house used in the logo. Because the last two years they've been using a different logo for the ads. (Which I love btw) I don't understand why they haven't changed it to the one on the ads on the show yet.

If you remember your going into the 14th series and alot hated your 13th one,

in america the shows that work are the ones with public voting, if you tweaked your shows format by adding in secrets or something that each ofyour house guests have to keep and then each of the houseguests have to uncover the other houseguests secret, keep the old format and make america choose who they want to watch and have a whole house full of game players, america's seen it enough to know who they want to watch and it's about time the american one is looked up to

I think the old format would work because the HoH would keep the strong players in the game. There is a popular show in America that doesn't have public eliminations and does very well tho. I believe it's called Survivor.

Whenever Big Brother has had a meh season. The next season usually comes out with a big bat and hits it out of the park
Evidence #1 = BB5 was meh and BB6 was one the biggest seasons and popular seasons.

Personally I think they should try public evictions as a twist. On the first night the twist is usually revealed to the hgs. It would make the show unpredictable again.

OMG just read the OP for the first time. That would be a different logo. Except just use it in ads and for the show have the opening sequence themed with the eye for that season

That's what makes me think that this upcoming season is going to be really good.

I got an idea. Let's call this season Big Brother: The Reboot

also i need to mention despite us hating this season. This season's ratings have been the highest in a while

BB10 was my favorite season. That was a back to basics season, no twists, just sticking by the rules. I think twists don't work on BBUS because evferyone thinks the producers are trying to manipulate the results with the twists.

Just stick to the basic BBUS rules and have a good diverse cast of characters and i think it would be great like BB10.

Aw ah well. If they do change the logo change it to the french canadian logo. Ironically it was originally supposed to be the US verison logo. (When they did auditions they used the BBUSA logo originally)
