Does the UK have any incorruptable politicians?
The reason why I ask is because in the US there's this Congressman named Ron Paul who's running for president and has a passionate group of followers who are convinced that he's the 2nd coming of Christ (not really, but almost). Basically, the reason why he has a loyal following is because he's incorruptable. Literally, he is incorruptable. He's been in Washington for over 20 years and the lobbyists have long since stopped giving him money because they know they can't buy him. They call him Dr. No and it's not uncommon for him to be THE ONLY person of the 435 members of the House of Representatives to vote against certain bills. If a bill passes by a vote of 434 to 1, it's almost a sure bet the one dissenting vote is Ron Paul.
Was wondering if the UK has any prominent politicians that are incorruptable or comparable to Ron Paul?
