If a male had spoken to a female the way denise did?

she name called him and swore at him for absolutely no reason and of course failed to apologise.....she will now spend the rest of her time rallying her troops against him to leave him the only american alone and cut off in the CBB house....nice...exactly what all the women (bar shilpa) did to dirk benedict before

BUT what if the tables were reversed....we are quick to point out that kirk and frankie are being too tacky in their approach (which they are its soooo boring especially as theres no proper chat or foreplay or flirting before they get crude) but at least thats not deliberately nasty like denise.

IF madsen or any male had approached her and grilled her about why she goes in the diary room them name called her and swore at her....would he have been grilled in the diary room about bullying?

dont forget the great andy gray the best football pundit there has ever been and richard keys got banned for life and lost their careers and homes because they made 1 joke about a female linsewoman...yet women like denise say whatever they like and get even greater rewards?

double standards all over the place....typical sexism against men on mainstream UK media and as always with a hint of anti americanism thrown in....and we thought channel 5 would be different?

fruit_cake 13-01-2012 05:33 PM

no

Marsh. 13-01-2012 05:34 PM

There is no bullying. Confrontations like this between people of both genders occurs all the time. Things are said in heat of the moment, but to bring bullying into it is ridiculous.

double standards....read between the lines stop playing dumb. men lose their careers on tv by doing nothing , 1 throwaway harmless joke, people like loose women say what they like, mostly sexist male hate and abusive as in this case and get away with it every day:dance:ok? did I explain it now or do you want me to draw you a picture?

From what I can remember, when Denise was shouting at him last night she didn't shout any sexist remarks, it was just a normal argument between two people. I understand where you're coming from in the whole " tv show loose women insult men on the show but men can't insult women", but I can't see how that argument can be used in this situation.

I mean, last year in BB12 Harry shouted at Heaven something like "stay out of it! it's none of your effing business!" pretty angrily, right after shouting at Alex too, but I don't think he was sent to the Diary Room and told off.

the truth 13-01-2012 05:49 PM

yeah that situation had seen his belongings thrown in the bath? anyone would lose their rag....the group soon told him off and he soon backed down....this situation was premeditated bullying. BB should have been less sexist and given hera dressing down

Was it sexist though? I'm sure millions of women will start an argument with a man tomorrow, but I doubt they're all being sexist. Arguments happen all the time. Just because someone thinks its bullying and premeditated doesn't also automatically mean sexism is playing a part too.

the truth 13-01-2012 05:56 PM

I think it was 100% sexist. she verbally abused and bulied him simply because she knew as hes a man and shes some kind of a woman, that shed get away with it....bullies bully for as long as they can get away with it...same with dirk benedict before....this will get worse until BB actually steps in

Ok, I'm going to presume you are on the wind up. If not you really need to stop being so damn sensitive.

Were you this interested when Frankie was making lewd comments to the girls?

None of what Denise said had anything to do with him being male.

Or maybe you have some kind of chip on your shoulder about the "Loose Women"?

IF you actually read what Ive said..which you clearly havent..suprise suprise....ive addressed frankies moronic behaviour and kirks crudeness in this very thread...its boring and pathetic, but its not yet bullying....denise is bullying

Josy 13-01-2012 06:05 PM

Michael isnt the only American, the twins are in there too, I agree that Denise was a bitch for no reason but I don't think it's anything to do with sexism tbh.

the truth 13-01-2012 06:36 PM

well I think its pure sexism at its worst. maybe we shall have to agree to disagree

well f everyone who makes a joke about a female lineswoman deserves to lose ther entire career , ther homes and their reputations then we are all in bg trouble. people who assault batter and steal get a shorter sentence....have you ever heard of punishment to fit the crime?
come off it,...everyone knows murdoch used political correctness to try and destroy andy gray who was suing him, just as hes done to so many others

So it would have been acceptable for him to laugh and joke about a linesman then?

I absolutely agree, she flipped because she can't hold her drink and she doesnt think she said anything wrong. I feel sorry for her hubbie!

Either you aren't watching the show or have been struck blind and deaf - Michael is not the only American in the house, there are not one, but two other Americans - twins, blonde, Playmates. Ring a bell?

What Andy Gray etc has to do with anything god knows, seeing as doing your job is wholly different from being on a light entertainment reality tv show.

Denise isn't being sexist, she's being an old drunkard who neither can hide her drink problem, her vile personality, or her massive ego.

daniel-lewis-1985 14-01-2012 09:36 PM

Yet another sexism thread from the OP lol.

He defo has a problem with women.

no but those guys lost their entire careers and their homes over something so utterly trivial

meanwhile the twins get to rate frankie (who was hilarious) as a date.
lets hope others get the chance to rate them...I suspect they wouldnt take well to the same criticism they dish out
