Underworld: Awakening
The Avengers
Men in Black 3

Should have made the poll multi choice.

not a bad idea. But I sometimes wonder if everyone realizes when they can do multiple options, though. Just imagine if you could have a ticket to just one movie of the three you listed right now, which would it be?

Twilight :D

(Remebers being flamed for the exact same answer last year :joker: )

Has there ever been a movie saga so disproportionately loved by one gender and ignored by the other? If you're a Twilight fan, there's like a 99.9% chance you're female.

I dont think thats true at all tbh. Its just something people who dislike it have made up

When I went to see part 1, there was quite a lot of blokes there (and not ones who had been dragged by their girlfriends either, a few groups were male only  ). My boyfriend likes them now, though he hated the first film. My sisters boyfriend likes it, and my brother.

Its just not *cool* for blokes to admit it

I've never seen a Twilight movie but one of my friends said that she went to a special midnight screening of one of the movies when it was just coming out and she said it was packed and there was maybe one guy out of hundreds of girls. She said that the lines were so long that there was some fighting and pushing and shoving.

Heh. I have never been to one of the midnight screenings. I have a feeling it would piss me off.

Maybe girls are just more obsessed with it so more likely to go the second it comes out instead of waiting until the next day/week/whatever...but its certainly not only girls who like it like some try to make out.

I have to say that Prometheus is the one that I am most curious about. I'm still not 100% sure if this is an alien prequel or just takes place in the alien universe. Either way, it will be interesting to see Ridley Scott go back to Science Fiction.

Shaun 19-01-2012 12:15 AM

oh, completely missed Prometheus, that too.

Smithy 19-01-2012 12:56 AM

The Hunger Games :amazed:
