"Fence Sitting"

This has been used abit today. So if you saw four idiots arguing and making fools of themselves you would feel the need to have to choose a side?:conf:

While everyone is debating who came off worse between those four, Frankie along with Romeo & Gareth came off the best.

That's what matters :idc:

The point is though it's meant to be a show in which you give opinions and side with people. If you don't do that all show then when do people have to vote on?

Brother Leon 23-01-2012 09:28 PM

If I was in there, I wouldn't of got involved. I would of felt embarrassed that I am in the same show as these people if anything, which Romeo certainly looked like.

Frankie didn't fence sit, he stuck up for Denise. A great tactical move, as a surge of votes will be casted his way tonight. Frankie & Denise gained, no one else did votes wise.

Why should Romeo and Gareth get involved? It is not their argument and the people involved are adults and should be able to sort it out themselves, the two of them can try and calm people down but if they give an opinion which is not what the other person involved in the argument does not like it will just cause people to get wound up again...

Would probably have gone down either the Romeo or Frankie route myself

only if its an argument worth having and only if youre involved and you know the source of the argument...last night denise attempted desperately to start an argument about snoring by misquoting michael...tonight we were meant to believe it was meltdown for denise pulling down the twins pjs? nicolas whole role in it was utterly false she had nothing to argue about...it was just a performance....denise oh who cares...the twins utterly shallow...

starry 24-01-2012 07:51 AM

Romeo did give an opinion to the twins at the end though. It's Gareth who I have more of a problem with right now, I'd like him out next. I'm not sure Romeo really deserves to win though, I like one of the bigger characters to win and he is just too quiet.

Correct. The problem is that they've fence sat throughout

Housemates like Gareth and Romeo aren't entertaining at all.

I even prefer the drunken ole hag over these two.

Livia 24-01-2012 08:28 AM

Fence sitting is not the same as staying away from some drunken women having a slanging match. When I watched last night's show it reminded me why I have only a few well-chosen female friends.

rSlavenx 24-01-2012 09:03 AM

I couldn't have sat there and stayed quiet last night, I'd have to get involved in some way - probably the same route as Frankie.

Romeo gave his opinion calmly to Denise but he kept control of his emotions. Cool as a cucumber even though he must be as tired of this drama as anyone.

Gareth inadvertently gave his away by snapping at Denise to go to bed.

Michael didn't have the self discipline to keep out of it and just had to stir the pot. He allowed his negative feelings about Denise and the Twins to get the better of him.

Frankie should have kept out of it. I have sympathy with wanting to defend someone alone being attacked by three screaming women, but his negative feelings about the twins were tangled up with his urge to defend Denise.

Only Romeo came out of this looking good.

Gareth fence sat to stay out of trouble when he definitely knows his side

Ellen 24-01-2012 05:03 PM

Frankie should not have got involved, leave the women to their bickering.

Kizzy 24-01-2012 05:11 PM

frank only chirrped up to cause bovva, he couldnt give a toss about who was right or wrong, never mind fence sitting if gareth was not aware of what all the drunken ramblings were about then why would he take sides?

rusticgal 24-01-2012 05:49 PM

Cannot stand fence sitters....Frankie only got involved cos the twin went out and told him....and didnt get the reaction she was hoping for....he was dragged into it.....and handled it really well IMO...

Frankie only got involved because he hates the twins. The little boys bitter because he got knocked back numerous times. Then theirs the fact that the twins nom got his moronic partner in crime evicted.

Sad times. :bawling:

SourMango 25-01-2012 03:41 PM

The use of the term "fence sitting" is just lazy thinking if you ask me, as well as naive and gullible in the extreme.
