About the whole suing thing... why are people taking this so seriously?

Why are people taking this thing so, so seriously? Maybe there is a difference of culture because threatening to "sue" someone is used more flippantly in the states. It shouldn't really be taken too seriously until they ACTUALLY do sue you which is very rare. It's more of a way of trying to throw fear into someone. And she threatened to sue when she was clearly in an angry mood and not sober. Her twin talked sense into her but I doubt she'd ever seriously was even going to consider going through with her threat to sue anyways.

Off the top of my head, I can think of one example with the whole suing thing you may not have been aware of. A couple years ago, a very prominent radio host named Michael Savage (millions of listeners) threatened to sue the British government for banning him from entering the country. I don't believe he did end up suing them even though he had the money to do so.

I'm a little surprised at how reactionary everyone is. If you're not going to vote for the twins, please don't say it's for this reason because it really is silly. My first impressions were that their threat to sue was funny. Come on, these girls are HILLARIOUS. It's funny that so many don't see that. The fact that Frankie's polling numbers have practically doubled tells me that this is a very reactionary board. He was in hiding for most of the show and now he's going to win because of one good night? Now that's silly.

I don't have a vote but if I did I would 100% vote for the twins and I'll give my reason. None of them have fooled me because I know they are all there for the wrong reasons whether it's to make money or advance their careers. To various degrees they're all fake. They're all phonies. They all are playing to win. Therefore, the only standard I would feel appropriate to judge them on is entertainment. And no one has been more entertaining than the twins.

Don't take this suing thing so seriously because there clearly is a difference in culture.

I think people who don't like the Twins are taking it seriously and those that do see it as a heat of the moment threat.

Never fear I will be voting like crazy for them, most entertaining HMs by a mile.

Wouldnt mind if he even had a good night... but he didn't

All he did was take an opportunity to stoke an argument and wind up some girls who he doesnt like cause they find his constant sexual references repulsive. He even admitted to gareth he was deliberately winding them up and laughed about it... (which people seem to have overlooked)

Relative to Denise THEY ARE RESERVED. Denise showed her boobs for the whole world to see (for free). And hello, they've shown their asses for $$$$ because IT WAS THEIR JOB and how they made their living. That seems to be what you don't understand: it was a job.

try to be a little more original in your attacks. That jab has been erroniously used and recycled time and time again here.

Firstly, I wonder if it's your intention to come across quite so hysterically puritanical, and at the same time take so much glee in posting this picture of the twins, so much so you have it in your sig so it's repeated every time you post.

Secondly, I'm surprised the mods haven't made you edit the picture.

So let me get this right - If someone's at a party with friends, gets a bit squiffy and flashes a bit of their body for a laugh then they deserve to be villified and called all sorts of names but if someone gets ALL their bits out on a regular basis for MONEY then thats okay.

i agree with you on the suing and the "job" thing.

that said, i fear your logic is lost on this board. when people on here dont like a certain housemate they will defend their "non-liking" of them till the end. no amount of logic is going to win them over, unless they decide they want it to.

just saying ;) no point getting round up over it, thats just how people work. i mean, no matter what a person said to me, no matter how much "proof" theyd come up with, i would not change my mind on (e.g.) denise.

That's ALL the people on here, is it? Except you, of course. You yourself will be the perfect picture of reason. Welcome to the forum... we are so honoured.

Denise can walk around completely naked 24/7 for all I care but the question at hand is whether or not the twins are reserved and they have behaved very reserved for people whose job it was to be very unreserved. I'm not attacking Denise so much as making the point that relative to some people in the house they have in fact been reserved. Personally, I don't think they are reserved relative to an average person but I think her comment about her being "reserved" needs to be put into context of what just happened: her pants were taken down for all the world to see and she doesn't want to have this image that they're okay with people taking off their clothers because it was their profession.

Hello Livia :) Nobody is perfect, of course. Whilst I admit to sometimes getting really round up posting things I shouldn't be posting, I have learnt that attacking another person's post by attacking them personally just devalues the point one is trying to make. I try to treat people like I want to be treated :)

If one must attack: attack the post, not the poster. That's all I was trying to get across :)

It's good advice. That's actually in the rules here. Here's my advice to you: learn where the ignore button is. If you're going to hang around here you will probably need it.

I haven't changed my opinion and guess most of the haters already hated them anyway, well before yesterday's show.:joker: They really have been Twintastic.:dance:

Made me love them even more.

I don't know why Karissa is so upset about a few million people watching BB get a sneak peek at her ass.

All anyone has to do is google to see it.
