Why does Michael tell such blatant lies?

Thats three out n out lies I've heard him tell, the last one being last night saying that nicola HAD consulted everyone before she shredded the letters.

Does he forget its all on film? Does he just not care?

I cant remember who was in the room at the time he said this but if anyone else from that (letters) group was there why didnt they speak up??

Locke. 24-01-2012 08:36 PM

Nicola did say to the room that she was pressing it and is everyone ok with it, I just don't think anyone replied

Glad someone else noticed this ,they didnt speak out as they have no backbones ,Nicola had just said herself she DIDNT ask anyone ,then he jumped in and said she had, then when he was outside with Denise he said she had not !!:devil::devil:

Jezzy 24-01-2012 08:37 PM

Not at all, Michael said he would back her up if she did it, because if she hadn't, he would have. That's the only reason he commented at all in last night's argument.

Patricia4 24-01-2012 08:38 PM

Michael told her if you dont do it I would of.

Cherie 24-01-2012 08:53 PM

She did tell them all what she was going to do BEFORE she pressed the button, she didnt jump up unannounced and press it....and if we are going down the no backbone route...why did Denise say...I dont need my letter, I KNOW my boys love me....if she really wanted her letter...where was her backbone?

armand.kay 24-01-2012 09:07 PM

In the time they had to talk about it she said to everyone she is going to pressing the button, no one replied.

Knitting Nana 24-01-2012 09:27 PM

Lordy - for those giving all the comments that were said AFTER the button was pushed: I said in my op about nicola not consulting everyone before she shredded the letters.

The comments given AFTERWARDS do not count as consulting. She was already on her feet and doing it while she said she was going to do she didnt wait for anyone's comments. She didnt give anyone time to speak.

As big brother were reading out the rules Kirk said 'oh they can have their letters' then a few seconds later someone else says 'I'm not saving mine' then nicola says 'they havent got children, people with children should have the letters. Go, I'm doing it, I want my letter. She does not 'consult' them at all she TELLS them she's going to do then immediately does it.

And michael lied about it.

exactly

JonRC 24-01-2012 10:25 PM

what are you people watching? I clearly saw her discussing - AT LENGTH - that she would push the button when the time started, they DID discuss it and Mike DID say he would back her

vortex 24-01-2012 10:49 PM

Nicola did say she was gonna press the buzzer, it's not like she jumped without consulting, nobody opposed to her, so they were agreeing in silence but still Denise agreed with her group to let the other housemates have their letter so her complain makes no sense.

This ....:wavey:

Niamh. 24-01-2012 11:02 PM

It wasn't a lie, she said to everyone before the time started that she was going to do it -which is consulting- none of them said Oh No Nicola don't do it:conf:

calyman 24-01-2012 11:04 PM

It seems to me the main reason for Denise's gripe was the speed at which Nicola pressed the shredder buzzer. No time for reflection, consideration, empathy with the other group, in fact an absence of those same things which Denise's group actually took time to consider. In that manner, Denise does have a right to criticise Nicola's selfish reaction.

I really have to question whether both of you are watching the same show?

Before the clock began ticking - there were a few minutes in which each team discussed what they would do. Nicola made it clear that she wanted her letter- made this very vocal to her group and NOT ONE OF THEM spoke up to say no. Not one of them said they disagreed. Not one of them objected to what Nicola said she was going to do, very very clearly. Not one. Whether you think they had backbones or not Chuff, the FACT is: not one of them objected.

When she did press the button - Michael then told her not to be upset because he she hadn't pressed it - He would have.

It's better to discuss what actually happened, instead of twisting the truth to suit you.

When the task was read out by Big Brother, and before the time started to count down, Nicola said, more than once, that she wanted her letter and was going to press the button. I did not hear one person say, no, that's not the right thing to do. Probably because they all wanted their letters.

Did YOU forget it's on film? You would make a terrible witness. Let's hope you're never called.

Can't say I agree... but I do like your Klimt.

Beso 25-01-2012 10:06 AM
