To Steve Jobs lovers
|
I'm not a Steve Jobs "fan" but I don't hate him.
But that is so sad |
Lol, I'm not suggesting anyone hate Jobs, he wasnt a bad man overall. My problem is people like Dennis Ritche get ignored, even though they did things that changed the world, mostly because they don't stand on a stage to sell their new product.

Cult of personality. Just like Apple's cult of image. I have friends doing computer science courses who were very outspoken about this as well.
Apple fanboys must be some of the worst around. |
It's not a competition. I'm sure Mr. Ritchie had many people that loved him and miss him (like you). Why are you comparing them?
Both were loved, and both are missed by many people. It's not a competition. Putting dead bodies up against each other in some kind of comparrison DEATH MATCH is disgusting to me. Both are dead, may they both Rest in Peace. |
Who said it was a competition? Just showing respect for a guy who didn't get as much as he should of.

I would have thought that was fairly obvious. |

They are both great men, there's no need to pit them against each other in death. |

But it's not exactly anyone's fault that they haven't heard of him, it's the fault of the press or whoever that hasn't publicised him enough. Just because I'm a Steve Jobs fan it doesn't mean I'm unappreciative of any other technology genius, and it's a bit unfair to say that any fan of Steve Jobs would be. |

Keep trying though. You'll get to it eventually. |
