Reasons why people voted Denise the winner?
 

Why do you think she got the most votes and won? Or any reasons why you or anyone you know voted for her to win?

I voted for her 50 times on facebook, simply because she was entertaining, lovely and I couldn't stand the thought of Michael or the Twins winnning.

She wasn't my favourite and I didn't vote for her, but I suppose she was involved in a lot of storylines, so I put that I think people probably voted for her because she was consistently entertaining

Most of the public thought if she won she would not be evicted meaning that she would not be aloud out little did they know she would be realised upon the unsuspecting public psychotic and intoxicated as ever :joker:

Because Britain loves to tear down anyone good looking and talented? That's why so many of them flee to Hollywood, isn't it?

Who was the least good looking and least talented... we'll vote for that person! I imagine that was the logic of most Denise fans.

She and the Americans played off each other nicely. Without her there'd have not been a show. I put down Entertaining, simple. Frankie works in that way as well.

Entertaining I will allow you as its subjective I guess. A hater vote is pathetic but hey whatever, but 'LOVELY' no no no... she is not remotely nice, let alone lovely. I wouldnt call an unstable serial adultress drunk - 'lovely' but hey maybe thats just me.

Absolutely spot on... However the most amusing aspect is that this time next year the Twins will be happy and their lives relatively sorted. Where as Denise will either be miserable, dead or in rehab. No matter how much the public want someone like Denise to 'stick it to the good looking Yanks' she never will, cause shes a shameful excuse of a human being. And they, for all their faults, are smart business women who will succeed at all costs.

From people I know, they voted for her in the main after the pants incident,they felt sorry for her and didn't believe she had any malicious intent to doing that at all.

I think she won because of that event, not with my help though, I didn't throw one vote Denise's way all series. Clearly she didn't need me to either.

She totally won because of that. The same way Ulrika won because of Coolio and Nadia won because of Victor and Jason. If someone in the house can generate enough hate then whoever is opposed to them (for whatever reason even if they are in the wrong) has a good chance of winning.

Had this been normal BB and it had gone on for longer her support over pantsgate would have waned and she wouldnt have won, but it was so close to the end it carried her to victory.

The weird thing is most of that argument wasnt even about the pants affair but just groundless attacks on Nicola for events days previously.

If only it were... TBH in the British media now you basically have to commit paedophilia in order to totally vanish from the public eye if you are even remotely famous. Gary Glitter, that bloke from the thick of it... but lets be honest Denise could hold a live public orgy and some crappy paper or magazine would buy her story of 'why she did it' and the same people who voted for her would most likely buy the story.

Just look at K Katona, what exactly is she famous for now? Shes basically famous for being a drug addict, a total mess and crappy mother. And yet still she retains a relatively high level of fame.

You seem to have a funny view of 'Britain' I for one don't 'tear' anyone down who is good looking and talented,but i will NOT vote for someone due to their looks,how shallow is that? I applaud anyone,with talent that does well no matter what nationality,so many 'flee' to Hollywood for money and opportunity offers,but they better make sure they are young and have the 'looks' to do well over there.

In BB people vote on personality only. You may not agree with their choice, but to say the reason people didn't like the Twins because they are attractive is stupid.

Nope, without Michael and the Twins, Denise would have just been another loudmouthed, sad, pathetic, drunk getting her tits out - her signature move.
She would probably have found another victim for her "jokes" who may not have been as patient as Michael who could easily have had her removed for the punching incident alone. Karissa complained to BB about the pants incident which is why Denise got a warning. Pity Michael didn't officially complain as well so that we could have seen the back of Denise a lot earlier.

I dont think that was the wider point, you've oversimplified it. Yeah Sophie won cause shes thick as two short planks. The British public dont mind 'attractive' as long as you are as thick as pigs**t. Kates a poor example, even by her own admission I wouldnt classify her as glamour model material, shes a decent looking girl but also quite blokey in her behaviour. Other than that you can count on one hand how many attractive AND smart women make it to the final, NONE have ever won it.

I dont think anyone would say they have huge talent (the twins) but they are pretty and they are smart (by that I mean sharp and know what they want/how to get it not educated as such) they also have bags of confidence. The British hate that in anyone... Its quite widely recognised in other cultures around the world.

In the US breeding confidence (bordering on arrogance) into their young people is seen as a great thing, over here we prefer to teach people they are worthless and to have no respect for themselves, which is why no marks like Frankie and Denise are so popular where as talented people (like Gervais, Brand, many musicians end up going to america) cause the tabloids cannot wait to destroy them.

The feud with her and Victor/Jason had ALOT to do with it, it instantly made her appear vulnerable and more likeable because they were both so easy to hate (a pair of bellends)

She is the worst ever BB winner. Worse than Ulrika and thats saying something. Its a real sad indictment of the british public that they feel they identify more with her than anyone else in there.

I still ain't got a clue how a vile and mentally disturbed person like Denise won. WTF were the British public thinking?

Sadly I dont think much actual 'thinking' was involved. Just alot of misplaced sympathy votes and slightly sick inducing nationalism.

Was she quite well known being on that Loose Women show? That would be a possible reason.

probably, they are all much of a muchness on that show...opinionated, narcissistic old has beens or never weres. I cringe like mad at that show as they debate topical issues inbetween shots of them snogging some poor sod, flashing their saggy bits or falling out of some award ceremony fissed as a part.
One upping each other every week as to who has had the most failed marriages ...been the most depressed ...urgh

didn't most people think it was "vote to keep in" in the last week?
so, they should have kept her in - seems only fair (wish she was still there now)

in fact, I'd find it funny if she was still there in the summer :D
