Yankee Candles

Anyone else use these? I know we were discussing in Towers the other week, but just curious. If so, what scents do you use?

Never heard of them. But my family always have Diptyque ones around. They smell nice.

I love yankee candles but I can never remember which ones I have as they last for ages!! I'll check tonight when I get in :)

I'm not a fan of Yankee Candles. I had to repaint my ceiling afterwards because they left horrible black, sooty marks. I prefer Lampe Berger where you heat the stone and the oil sucks all the nasties out of the air while smelling gorgeous - which sounds weird if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Not tried these, but I love scented candles.

Body shop ones are gorgeous :)

To give the ambiance if you don't want the smell

I like my room to be ambient and relaxing, especially when I'm doing my writing. I like my work space and bedroom to be clean, smelling nice and calming.

I'm paranoid about scented candles and insense, i think they cause cancer.

(yes i'm a smoker so i know that's hypocritical, but i'm just saying...)

Marc 01-02-2012 12:05 PM

Hush down Ginger. You're a student; your room probably smells of stale beer and pizza, plus you cannot afford scented candles. :hmph:
