I love stuff like this, old abandoned buildings and places amaze me :amazed: and its strange to think how secluded it is when you think about where it is situated.

How have we never heard of this place? It's amazing...and scary.

Thats amazing. I wouldn't have thought a whole island could exist relatively untouched in the middle of such a huge city like New York. :o

They should film a horror movie there, I thought of silent hill as soon as I started looking at the photos.

That is eerie. I love stuff like this. It's like that place 'Centralia' that has been nearly abandoned.

How bizarre albeit extremely interesting. For once a great article from the Daily Mail.

Reminds me of one of the places used in MTV's Fear, a reality show where the contestants(team of 6 or so people) are brought to creepy places, like penitentiaries, madhouses, and such and have to do solo missions, like sit alone in the dark for 20 minutes with no lights or radio contact with their team, for rewards. They all wore a camera to record their every move. TV gold. :hugesmile:
