Who from BB is still famous or in the public eye?
 

Just wondering - who currently (in 2011-2012) from the regular Big Brother, is still famous or at least somewhat in the public eye?

I don't live in the UK so I don't fully know - but from what I've gathered it seems like Josie, Nikki, Chantelle, Allison (BB2), and Imogen are the only ones really.

josie is a bit. alison is but she has distanced herself from the show hardly anybody knows its big brother that made her famous. imogen is because of the ryan giggs thing, didnt hear anything from her since she left the house before that

Kate Lawler has a prime-time show on the biggest rock station in the country.

cant remember his name the guy who won in the year nasty nick got kicked out? he does a DIY slot on a show i think.

There have been 202 BB HMs and nearly all of them are no longer in the public eye.

Imogen reappeared from obscurity only because of her affair with Ryan Giggs

Chantelle only gets coverage because of her realationship with one of Jordan's ex-husbands, Alex Reid (Cbb winner)

Brian Dowling is, now that Jade Goody's dead, probably the most "famous" ex BB HM (only because of his new job), and some like Alison Hammond, Craig Phillips and Kate Lawler get regular media work. Others like like Victor Ebuwa and Brian Belo may turn up on BB spin-off shows, but they're not "publicly" well-known. Some, like Makosi, Chanelle, Aisleyne and Charley may be mentioned in gossip columns but most readers wouldn't know who they were. AFAIK, even Jon Tickle, who used to have a regular TV slot, has returned full-time to his old job.

Has Kate left her BB past behind other than hijacking the celeb hijack house?

Brian Belo still gets a bit of work, mainly on Harry Hill's TV Burp it seems.

Craig Phillips & Brian Dowling are probably the only two with any relevance and a reputable career now Jade Goody is dead. Jon Tickle was on TV quite a bit for a long time and Brian Belo makes quite a few appearances mostly on comedy shows/reality shows. Kate and Alison also do a bit of professional TV/radio work.

Chanelle, Nadia, Kemal and the BB8 twins all released a single. (Probs some others too) I wouldn't say any of the girls in the first post are really that famous at all (if even relevant) Maybe Imogen recently due to being featured on the news and in papers/magazines for the affair, but tbh that has all died down again and most people probably couldn't tell you her name.

On an even lower level, as already mentioned, Victor, Michelle Bass, Nikki Grahame and Sophie Reade still get occasional media work, but they definitely would leave a lot of viewers wondering who they were if they appeared on a non BB related show. Chantelle is just a bit of a tabloid mess. Orlaigh McAllister does some work for local media here in Northern Ireland, but she was only on TV 2 or 3 times last year over here.

One of our towns winners Craige Phillips,i know craige he has done ok for himself out of BB and still does DIY for some and some public appearances,he has moved from our town now,but still visits regularly and meets up for a bevvy.

I don't know if you can count Brian seeing as he hasn't done anything for years besides BB, and the same with most ex-housemates really, I'd say Imogen's actually done the best

I suppose BB CH doesn't count, but a couple of them have done ok-ish, Nathan is a recording artist and Anthony I think is going to the olympics
