Terry Duckworth's plans revealed
 

Bad boy Terry Duckworth will open a lap dancing club when he returns to Coronation Street.

Bosses hope the storyline could see late-night escapades in Weatherfield after Rovers bar staff call time.

A Corrie source said: “Can you imagine the impact the place will have on the more elderly characters in the street?”

Terry, played by Nigel Pivaro, 52, will also be reunited with son Tommy, played by Chris Fountain.

Producer Phil Collinson hinted Terry’s return would send shockwaves through the community.

He said: “This time he’ll not only be blighting the life of Tommy, but the lives of everyone with a typically audacious scheme.”

Nigel will start filming this month, appearing on screen in April.

He said: “The show has changed, so will present Terry with a different landscape to before.”

Tracy could get involved in this, she would be game for something like that?

A late night episode of Corrie would be fun with this storyline because it would allow them to do pre watershed things.

I like the idea of Tracy being involved, it would be right up her street this kind of thing.

I hope Terry really causes a few problems on the street and I hope they make me hate him.

The problem with Corrie it is too old school, where as the likes of Hollyoaks and EastEnders at least appear to be more modern as technology is more advanced...

I hope they do not make him too pantomime either, maybe we will see Tommy go to the darkside?

We're going to be seeing more Tina on screen then:sleep:, nothing against Michelle Keegan but I think the character is tired and is just there purely for eye candy atm.

Rosie will surely be part of it? Before she leaves..

Yeah, Helen whatsherface said she finished filming before Christmas. Terry Duckworth's actor only starts this month.

It is like Jane Danson, she has had a longer break from Corrie but on screen she will be back in like 2 weeks...

I hope we have none of that.
