So Weatherfield is a district of Salford?

I always assumed it was a town in the Greater Manchester area

The Street was based on an actual Street - Archie Street - which was in Ordsall, which was in an area of Salford. Salford is now a Metropolitan Borough of Greater Manchester.

Weatherfield doesn't actually exist.

I know Weatherfield doesn't exist lol, but it has it's own fictional crown court, hospital and many other things, I don't think a district of Salford would have those, where as Salford sized town would

I agree, but like you say, it's 'Fictional' so anything goes :joker:

Lol that's true, I'm gonna keep on thinking Weatherfield is it's own town, rather than it being Salford. After all then we'd have a SALford based soap and a WALford based soap xD
