Just heard a story that sent chills all over my body

My mum works at our local Tesco and a woman who works in the garage told her today about an incident that happened last night.

It was late and the garage forecourt was empty except for one car. The car belonged to a lady and she filled her car and made her way to pay.

When she got to the counter the cashier asked her to come inside. The woman refused and didn't want to so the cashier asked her again.

She then said to the woman, 'I don't want you to be alarmed but I've just seen a man in a mask get into the back of your car and lay himself down on the back seat. I've already phoned the police and I need you to come in and pretend to browse.'

It turns out once the police had arrived that the man was a serial rapist that had escaped from where he was being held.

When I heard it reminded me of Urban Legends

How scary is that?

Its ****ing creepy.

I'm sure I've been warned about this kind of thing before by someone...that you should always keep an eye on your boot or something because there's been cases where people jump in and follow you home (or wherever you're going) to either kill you, or in this case - rape you.

****ing freaky :o

Glenn. 13-02-2012 06:31 PM

The moral of the story is lock your car when you leave it unattended

Which is especially creepy because today, the first time in my life, I left a car unlocked and unattended (My aunt told me to) while she went to get money from a hole in the wall, and I went to the bus stop to see some friends home. Now it was light and the boot can be seen (the dog goes in there if we go on long journeys or something) but they could still have got in there.

And the same day I come home and read this :o

I actually always check the back seat before I drive because of this story :blush2:

Patrick 13-02-2012 06:36 PM

I thought of this dick head when I read that,

Niamh. 13-02-2012 06:38 PM

Also, a serial rapist has escaped from prison but the only one who knows about it is a woman who works in the garage near Tesco

Livia 13-02-2012 06:42 PM

Nah... I'm not buying that one. I've heard it too many times. Anyway, I don't have a back seat, and doesn't everyone lock their car when they go to pay at the petrol station?

Really, so If I flick over to Sky News they'll be covering the story then? Surely a serial rapist escaping from Prison is big news ;)

I know how you feel. :idc:

Something happens here, no one cares - it happens in London and the world needs to know.
