How did you think you pronounce 'Gotye'?
 

I only found out the proper way today (Go-tee-yay, or like Gauthier)... just wondering how you pronounced it before you found out (if you didn't know from the beginning)

I have never seen that word before in my life.

always pronounced it that way.. only because thats how I heard about them.

My mom asked me who sung the Somebody That I Used to Know song the other day and I didn't know how to pronounce his name. I know it's Go-tee-yay now but I used to think it was Got-yuh.

Thought it was Got-yeh. But the real pronunciation reminds me of how nobody can pronounce Mutya. Mu-tee-ya, not Moot-yah.
