Can't remember D-:

I can't exactly go into detail of my worst child-hood moments on a forum, only my closest family know what I've been through there

Happiest... I'd have to have a real think...

My worst and still is to this day is back in 1993 when little James Bulger was murdered, wont go into detail but every February 12th is a heartache for us.other than that I had many happy childhood memories before that,it is hard to pick just one out.

Best: Either the day I found out I passed my 11+ or this holiday I took. The day I found out I'd passed and got into my grammar school was pretty awesome because I was like the first one in our family to get in (except my cousin who got in the same year as me ) and yeah... we went out to dinner that night and I think I got bought a PS2 game. But there's also the symbolic significance - it was the ticket to meeting all the friends I have today.

The holiday I took was only to a Haven camp (in Perranporth, Cornwall) but it was still pretty awesome... swimming everyday, trips to the beach, arcades and bingo LOL. I remember one year I got sick for 3 days and would even throw up glasses of water, so that year wasn't so great (although interestingly I could stomach Cornish ice cream...) but otherwise... I went with my aunt and her grandchildren too so it was like a massive family get-together for a week or two.

As for the worst... I'm not sure. I had a pretty easy childhood. Oh... this fight my parents had when I got back from one of the above holidays :p My mum and dad were already on the brink of separating, because we went on the holiday without him... anyway we got back and he was totally drunk, and asleep (he'd wet himself too :/) so my mum woke him up and was laying into him about how much of a mess he was, and he got violent... I remember literally hiding behind the sofa, because he threw her across the living room, and she landed on a table. She was OK though. Anyway next thing my older brother (who didn't live with us, and happened to be arriving) barged in the front door and hit him, and my dad threatened him with a knife... this was right in front of my sister, who must have been about 8 or 9 at the time. Anyway he eventually left and that was basically the end of the marriage. They didn't divorce though... I guess just because it would've been expensive and my sister/brother were really protective of him. I wasn't so much, I was kinda fed loads of stuff by my mother about how awful he was and I guess it stuck. He only moved like a couple of blocks away though and he'd still take us out every so often... but it wasn't the same.

No, I hadn't heard that at all  Disgusting that he might get compensated on the back of that brutal, sick and evil thing he did.

I had such a wonderful childhood, with such wonderful parents and grandparents it's hard to pull out anything more positive or negative than the next thing. Probably the worst thing was when my Great Grantmother died. I was very close to her and it was my first experience of death. I think I was about seven, and my father explained to me what had happened and answered all my questions as well as he could, but I remember it being so hard to grasp the fact that I would never see her again. My happiest memories are just too many to mention, and I know that I am lucky.
