Adele's post-surgery voice

Am I the only one who's noticed that her Grammy and BRIT performances were a little bit... shaky to say the least?

Niamh. 22-02-2012 11:27 AM

A bit, she still blew the likes of Olly Murs, Damon Albarn and Rihanna off the stage. She's probably still recovering, I'm sure it will get back to normal again.

Kazanne 22-02-2012 11:40 AM

Never noticed, she was still her usual brilliant self from what I heard.

Samuel. 22-02-2012 11:45 AM

Yeah I noticed her Grammy performance wasn't perfect.

LaLaLand 22-02-2012 12:58 PM

Yeah I noticed too.

Smithy 22-02-2012 12:59 PM

Yeah, It seems a bit more gruff :conf2:

Niall 22-02-2012 01:24 PM

I noticed it was a bit wobbly too. She's probably still in recovery.

Lee. 22-02-2012 01:42 PM

Yip, definitely not as strong as it usually is... seemed a bit shaky at bits.

Marc 22-02-2012 01:56 PM

Yeah it definitely wasn't the best.

Hopefully she's holding back to protect her vocal cords.

CharlieO 22-02-2012 02:01 PM

I liked it. :conf2:

Brother Leon 22-02-2012 02:22 PM

Not what it usually is....saying that she still outshone the rest for both events

Nit pick all u like. She's the best and most successful talent we've had for years. Olly Murs on the same stage as her????? LOL no wonder the Grammys crap all over the Brits. :joker:

Marsh. 22-02-2012 04:51 PM

Yes, she wasn't at her best but I still thought she was fab. It's disgusting some of the comments people are making on DS about her, that forum annoys me everytime I read it. lol.

But, yeah, she's probably still in recovery and she looked very nervous too.

Shaun 22-02-2012 04:52 PM

It's so strange how she's getting backlash now for being so successful and everywhere. Blame the media for only being able to cope with one artist

True. But it always happens. Once they've put someone so high up on a pedestal they lose the fun in it and have to drag them back down. Pathetic really.

Even people who don't like Adele's music should be able to appreciate that in a world of auto-tune, and slutty popstars that Adele is a breath of fresh air for music.

She co-writes all of the music and performs it without needing to dress up as an egg or in a dress made of cow dung.

Jords 22-02-2012 07:45 PM

I thought it quite shakey too but of course still very good.

Glenn. 22-02-2012 08:15 PM

I noticed this too. She still smashed it though, even if it was an old song :bored:
