Why does Jorgie and Matthew get all the best time slots?

Are they doing that bad in the votes that they need the high judges scores and late time slots just to survive the vote? heck Matthew has been on last twice while people like Chemmy haven't been on last once. I do like Jorgie but im trying to be fair here and she needs an early time slot soon.

A great deal right in what you say there jf, I cannot see why there cannot be rotations from the first week onwards as to the slots for the performances rather than some getting all the later slots and others as you say, rarely if ever getting a look in.

It is not the contestants fault.. ITV and the Dancing On Ice producers decide this, those 2 in particular must be polling in the votes quite a lot and obviously because they are that good TPTB wants every show to end on a high!

I do hope they have Jorgie on first soon though, saves me waiting for ages:joker:.

:spin: yeah...then I can just watch the results show to make sure she's safe lol. Actually it's starting to get down to the wire now. Chico has already been in trouble. Could the same occur to the top 2? Viewers votes will decide of course....mind u if chemmy is in the bottom 2 again cousins will move heaven and earth to save her butt :elephant:

I don't blame Jorgie and Matthew,I blame the producers as these two aren't rightful winners at the moment due to never having fair time slots.

I just thought it was about ending the show on a high. I didn't realise the time slots were viewed as a selling point.

Fair play on Jorgie tonight but Matthew has been on last three times now while Chemmy who needs the help always gets stuck on early,in paticular 2nd.

I actually don't mind Chemmy and agree she gets bad time slots most of the time, however she has a champion in Robin Cousins who will see her through no matter how good or bad she may be.
He is annoying a fair few people with that bias and not doing her any favours which is another reason why the viewers are maybe not throwing votes her way hence being in the bottom 2 again last night despite getting her original high scores for the solo performance doubled.

This has been a poor series though really, D.O.I. is all about feeding the judges egos and increasing their power and influence.Time to open it up to the public more and bring Robin Cousins down a peg or two as well.
Badly needs Jason back, it has lost a lot letting him go in my view.

I agree Joey,Jason was a brilliant judge imo and I don't think it's been the same without him, although I think DOI has coped better than XF with it's changes.

Interesting Joey, I hadn't realised this until you mentioned it. It makes more sense to me now.

Once again I agree with your comments. I have found this year the show missing that certain spark. It does feel like the judges are not helping with their bizarre scoring and I really do miss Jason on the panel.

Thank you for all your kind comments Visage, I do just feel this has all been about putting the judges stamp on the proceedings, especially Robin Cousins, from a public vote, really he alone decided one week 2 acts to be thrown out that week.
I would have the one who got the least votes be automatically sent home and then done the usual skate off for 'all' the judges to make a decision for the other not just him.

The twists are spoiling it and for some reason, I and all my friends who watch it, are very disappointed with its format this year.
On Saturday as I said earlier, once the teams were selected, we all said right away before anyone skated that no matter what, the team with Chemmy in would win the team event and get their points doubled.

A very heavy bias and frankly I would rather see Cousins go from this show now, everyone else has that used to be on the ice panel.
Jason wasn't afraid to take Robin Cousins on. As you say Jason is a massive miss on this series.
