You've got to ask yourself why someone as good looking as her is going out with him.. one of those questions in life that need to be answered

I feel sorry for his wife and kids. You would have to wonder what an 18 year old school kid and a married 41 year old with a wife and kids have in common though.

Wrong, he was grooming her before she was 18. The mother has every right to be angry, this man sounds like a sick pervert.

the student/teacher thing and whether the relationship was mutual and not grooming is the problem really, the age isn't really a big deal imo

Thats not THAT bad tbf. My nextdoor neighbours got together at 19 and 40-something but they were both prison wardens. Its not that uncommon its just the fact it developed in a school environment and he had a wife and kids.

Our neighbours have been together a good 5 years now and have a kid. It can work... (and shes gorgeous too!)

I'm torn by this tbh, I know it's legal and all but I can't help thinking about if it was my daughter and I think I would be livid at the man. I know 18 is technically an adult and maybe in a less seedy kind of set up, it wouldn't be as bad but the fact that he was her teacher and he left a wife and kids, doesn't paint the most honourable picture of the man imo
