Yes, but at the age Rita and Dennis are at now, I don't see it like that. So much time has gone since any friendship had with Elsie.

Back in 1964, Rita came in as Dennis' old friend (it was for one episode and it was a few years before she came in full time) there has always been a spark between them :D
