Shopping

Are you a fan of shopping? What shops in general do you like going to? Are you an occasional shopper or a compulsive shopper? Discuss.

King Gizzard 16-03-2012 02:33 AM

never go, just use the internet especially amazon

Benjamin 16-03-2012 02:33 AM

I like shopping. Nothing better than popping into my local BHS to pick up some fine china and faux-fur rugs.

MTVN 16-03-2012 02:34 AM

Don't mind going shopping, apart from when it actually comes to buying things

Maia 16-03-2012 02:36 AM

I must admit I am rather keen on shopping days out, I am always very careful though about spending too much, don't want to throw away money on useless nonsense.

King Gizzard 16-03-2012 02:37 AM

too many people in shops

too many people working at the shops trying to help you

Locke. 16-03-2012 02:40 AM

I've got to say I don't mind the occasional browse in an entertainment or sports store, but when it comes to most others I am rather weary of them.

I hate that. You walk into a shop and you want minimal contact with anyone. Just want to get your purchase and get out of the shop, but the assistants are always there, hiding behind some clothes rail, waiting, watching, until you get near enough for them to pounce on you and try and 'help' you by asking many pointless questions. I always feel like telling them to piss off, but my manners won't allow me.

Sounds more like a serial rapist than a shop assistant

Hate when you're walking down a supermarket with small aisles with a trolley and you get a parade of people walking down the aisles with their trolleys and you end up being stuck in the middle of what ends up as a game of dodgem cars

Novo 16-03-2012 06:29 PM

Can't stand clothes shopping at all nowadays i just never seem to find anything i like anymore and i really hate the fashion it's getting camper and camper by the year, there is no way i'd wear half of the **** they sell

Niamh. 16-03-2012 06:30 PM

I hate shopping

CharlieO 16-03-2012 06:33 PM

I love shopping but I have to be in the right mood.

I don't shop often anymore as I am locked away but in the holidays I love hitting the streets or splurging online.

If it's quiet and I'm on my own so I can get in and out of there quick it's not so bad :joker:

fruit_cake 16-03-2012 06:44 PM

I love shopping, but not so much on Saturdays I tend to go during the week when it's a bit quieter

Samuel. 16-03-2012 06:52 PM

I rarely go shopping any more, tend to just order things from the interwebs. But I do enjoy it.

Skirts for Men will be in fashion next and when that happens i am going to flee the country and go to Ethopia where you can walk around naked without any sight of Chinos

King Gizzard 17-03-2012 03:20 AM

K_A probably already wears skirts

Urgh, I remember when sarongs were trendy and David Beckham sported one. Bad times.

King Gizzard 17-03-2012 03:31 AM

I don't even like skirts on girls, dresses yes, but skirts :yuk:

SharkAttack 17-03-2012 03:41 AM

I shop online to browse for what I want and then go out and buy it at the local store if it can be found. Hate spending too much time out with loads of people browsing unless the stores are somewhat bare of other shoppers getting in my way.
