Does the House Exterior need major work?

Do you think that the exterior shell and the staging needs major work? Maybe not so much the stage, just a change.

But the shell is apparently practically falling down.

armand.kay 23-03-2012 10:41 PM

What do you mean by shell?

Marsh. 23-03-2012 10:42 PM

The shell is the outer walls of the house.

And yes, everything needs major work. House, sets, producers, tasks, etc etc

armand.kay 23-03-2012 11:04 PM

How long have they had the current shell for??

Shaun 23-03-2012 11:05 PM

I think since BB9.

I think the exterior could do with a major makeover. It's all well and good putting lights all over the house but if you cast your mind back to BB3 (considering it was brand new)and how nice the house looked compared to now, it needs more than just a lick of paint

Jarrod 24-03-2012 02:59 PM

The Current shell has been standing since 2002. The only bit that has changed is the back of the House which was knocked down and re-built back in 2008 for Big Brother 9.

So, think about it nearly 20 series have been housed in the same Shell since 2002. And just over 12 House designs.

Seriously Needs Changing

I hope the scrap the stairs this year and opt for a bb5 exterior (but with no outside stage making more space for the crowd)

If there isn't a outside stage, it would be pointless. There wouldn't even be a eviction studio as the show doesn't use the George Lucas stage any more so they don't have space to house studios.

Because it's unique. What's the point in using the same thing for everything? We'd get bored

Would be great if the whole structure were rebuilt.

But it's more important to find good housemates and good tasks.

King Gizzard 27-03-2012 10:16 AM

The whole channel 5 exterior/how they have the platform leading up to the house is so so tacky to me

Jordan. 27-03-2012 10:23 AM

I'd be happy with them just changing the layout inside the house. Bored of seeing it in it's current state now. The last house I liked design and layout wise was BB9.
