One suggestion I keep hearing is Will Mellor, I think he could make an interesting Darren if its true

The Connors have Irish blood and I saw someone recently suggest Jamie from Shameless, Aaron McCusker would be good but I cannot see him leaving the show he is in atm due to his role in the main family there.

Carla is only a Connor through marriage though not by blood
