It's for my Design & Technology written coursework :(
I have to be specific and say which one you would use to cut mahogany wood. I think its a coping saw but I'm not sure

Marc 31-03-2012 03:18 PM

Wouldn't it depends on how big it is? you wouldn't get anywhere cutting a mahogany door with a coping saw

Ha ha I do actually use a chainsaw to cut most things if I can get away with it but if its for smaller bits then I use a scorpion power saw or a circular saw. I ♥ chopping up stuff with saws

Mrluvaluva 31-03-2012 04:03 PM

A sharp one.

A bandsaw?

You should only use it with adult supervision.

It is YOUR coursework. If I sent this thread to the examiner and they worked out your identity, you could be disqualified from your examinations.

Oh and if you don't know you don't deserve to get the marks for it

Anyway I've found out its a coping saw
The block of wood is mahogany and is very small, therefore I'd use a coping saw because that cuts tight corners
