Bidet

How dy'all pronounce this?

I was talking with a couple of girls at work and they kept saying it as it's spelt, but I pronounce it as Beeday then there was a guy on TV today who pronounced it as bday

:suspect:

If you don't know what a Bidet is;

Mrluvaluva 31-03-2012 09:41 PM

no they clearly aren't :nono:

Mrluvaluva 31-03-2012 09:48 PM

First one is bid (as in auction) debt.

Third I imagine like G'day (Australian).

I may be wrong...

Boothy 31-03-2012 09:48 PM

I pronounce it 'arse cleaner'.

Never even heard of it being called a bidet.

Actually they're very nice when you get used to how to use them.

MTVN 31-03-2012 09:56 PM

Well I've never heard of it so just how it's spelt, but if it's French I guess it's beeday, which is surely just pronounced the same as bday :S

Boothy 31-03-2012 09:59 PM

I imagined the bday one to be more like buh-day

Marc 31-03-2012 10:00 PM

didn't even know it was spelt bidet

Marc 31-03-2012 10:01 PM

i also pronounce bday as beeday.. so i don't see the difference between those two

Smithy 31-03-2012 10:04 PM

bday is like some said before G'day as they'd say in aus where as beeday is, well, bee day

Niall 31-03-2012 10:34 PM

Beeday, i.e the correct way.

Niall 31-03-2012 10:36 PM

Fuck. I voted for the wrong one. :bored:

Mrluvaluva 31-03-2012 10:39 PM

Go shorty, it's your b day...
